I'm just another little old long time fan of Dead Sara. I'm absolutely happy that so many new people have found them, and above all else I'm extremely happy and proud for Dead Sara. They've been staple listening in my music for so long and it is really great so many people can now appreciate the phenomenal talent this band is. It's quite an emotional experience for me. There's a lot of millenial music across rock spectrum that didn't get its recognition and financial success because of the entire music industry collapsing when all these millennials were supposed to launch into space. Linkin Park, Limp Biskit, Korn, those Gen X bands were the last generation to cash in on massive profits from CD sales fueled by a thriving ecosystem or simbiosis between radio and Mtv before their demise when the iPod, iTunes, and online streaming cripled record labels, record stores disappeared, people stopped listening to the radio and rock stations stopped playing new bands, record stores at the mall closed forever, Mtv stopped playing music videos, the CD became obsolete inf favor of streaming which was not monetizable for artists; it all happened right when all these millennials were coming out of high school. The transitional muddy waters of 2005-2012 swallowed a lot of millennial talent. I'm happy to see Emily have survived that long journey, and just like a rising tide lifting all boats, more people are here enjoying DeadSara.

That was their choice to have more creative freedom to do what they love. But of course it came with risks such as not being known mainstream. Still good in its own right, but this stripped version is superior and sounds more like an unplugged Dead Sara rock hit. The original version was released on their 2018 EP "Temporary Things Taking Up Space". They have 3 full-length albums: Dead Sara (2012) Pleasure to Meet You (2015) Ain't it Tragic (2021 They have 3 EPs: The Airport Sessions (2008) The Covers (2017) Temporary Things Taking Up Space (2018) They released a few songs outside of the albums and eps... mainly the songs after their last album prior to Emily joining Linkin Park. (Help Me (2022) & Violent (2023).
