When she is just with her dad she doesn't make a sound 😆 but is verbal with mom, interesting how well she understands what's going on.

+Katie Wilson Thank you for naming what they are making in the blender. I was trying to figure it out but with what they put in I was lost. It looked more like real V8 to me with the avocado. I can not stand store-bought V8. I do fruit smoothies only.

I just love how he is teaching her everything and is patient and loving all the time. I have the feeling that the deafness is no problem. But maybe this would be an idea for a video? Where is it difficult for him as a father?
@blackbutterfly23 жыл бұрын
So why should it be a problem at all? Would you also ask a father who doesn't speak English but Spanish to his child ask where is it difficult for him as a father? This would somehow be a weird question right? :) She is basically just growing up multilingual and I think it's so beautiful to watch. ❤️
@Laura-ql4mg3 жыл бұрын
@Nicole Children can actually sign before they can speak. It takes the brain longer to coordinate everything it takes to say words. Motor skills develop first so it's easier for young children to learn to communicate through sign. That's why "baby sign language" has become popular. You match a sign with a spoken word, like "more" or "please" but it's only the one word and not the full grammar rules and such of ASL.
@rrr4413 жыл бұрын
@@Laura-ql4mg yes exactly. My husband and I are hearing but we taught our baby to sign some things very early on (change diaper, thirsty, hungry, etc). She picked it up very quickly. Now she can talk but still signs sometimes (especially when she's tired).

If one beautiful baby is what you want, then that is perfectly acceptable and wonderful for you and your fam bam! You guys should be true to yourselves and you shouldn’t feel bad for doing that… just in case you ever did. IF by chance, in the future an “accident” happens then just remember that, “there are no mistakes, just/only happy accidents.” Perfect timing 😉👌🏼

What does dad do for work? I work at a company where we’d like to be as inclusive as possible. While many jobs could easily be accomplished by a deaf person (computer programming, for example), we collaborate sometimes via video calls where we don’t sign. We do use slack and zoom chat during our calls though and think we could easily adjust to enable deaf people to thrive in our company. I don’t know ASL-only alphabet and 20 words or so. Curious if this topic has been covered by your channel? Thanks for sharing! Love seeing such a loving dad (hearing or deaf!) on KZbin!

Love your family and looove you guyses videos =) Can I just suggest feeding birds in general with something that doesn't swell when wet? Dry white bread, oatmeal and similar will swell in birds stomach, in best case giving a tummy ache, in worst case the bird dies from a ruptured stomach.. My source: zoo keeper friend and having seen it happen to my own bird
