I'm HoH and went to a restaurant with a group of people after a Deaf event I could hear just enough to hear the hearing waiter complaining about having to serve deaf people

Lol that's exactly what happened to me and my friend! I always need to help her to voice over and stuff. When she did alone and she got a wrong order or stuff she can't deal. 👀 Sooo yeah at least i can help her. 😅👍🏻

😂😂😂😂😂 yeah, I know how felt. But I told hearing people to listen to my deaf friends as they want to tell something to them. Because sometimes hearing people ask me to help them out. I was like 🤦‍♀️ sigh smh. Haha, anyway I can speak and sign language, I am Deaf also. :)

If not success then manager the only option.. many dearie people always said let me take care my order but telling me not speak for them so I stopped they looked at me said I shouldn't said at all but accepted help from people can talk . Help each other best option. Thank for video

I'm "hearing (I'm hard of hearing in one ear but hear good in the other ear) and I might ask a Deaf friend if they want me to say their drink but I never do it without their permission

Definitely annoying to have someone speak for me, but I also empathize with Jimmy here. Being the least-deaf person in a party can lead to bizarre situations like this.

Lol, I usually order it with my trusty phone. So I can understand what the waiter is saying. And sometimes I point it what I want. And thru the app. Right now COVID happens.

This happens with hearing people all the time when there're two languages involved. One person makes a mistake but thinks everything is clear. Another person speaks both languages well enough to catch the mistake and the exact same conversations happen.

I felt same problems. I just make sure make sure what I want been double check. If they make mistakes I show them again the realize what I’m trying telling. They will replace for free. Few time order wrong one. I do go restaurant many time. But some deaf people don’t often go restaurant that will cause problems.hope everything smooth order service. 🤟
