"In Blur" Lyrics:
In blur, father
glanced over stirred
Imagined you laughing
Muddied feet dancing
What is this aching prism?
This prison wincing
Receiving sudden swaths of dogma
Wandering over royal yonder
Wandering over flooded ground again
What does daylight look like in this chaos of cold?
What does daylight look like?
Solitude and falling into respites now
In blur, hovered
Accepted devotion
Unearther, bleeding ark of creation…
Who are you now?
Forgive the trembling love,
I’m weak and acting bold
and alone
#Deafheaven, #InBlur, #InfiniteGranite

A lot of bands chang their style to try to appeal to a wider audience and it comes down to just wanting more money..... Most people call that selling out not actually maturing..... Unless you consider the greater desire for money as being more mature..... I just found this band and this guy told me about them gave me some of their original stuff which was really hardcore metal..... Even though this music here is beautiful it is definitely a band that has lost their roots and appealing to the masses.....

I am actually loving this. For those of us who remember the 80s, have a listen to “Feels like Heaven” by Fiction Factory….beautiful vocal which is very similar to this style.

As a fan of both black metal and Shoegaze (and blackgaze), I’m all here for this sound. It just goes to show the immense well of talent that these guys have.

I love blackgaze as a genre but I love it more as a name, reminds me of Atlanta.

Easily my favourite label, alongside Southern Lord. The fact that you guys have released Boris and Deafheaven stuff is really awesome. Two of my most favourite bands of all time.

Al fin un comentario acertado a la evolución en esta línea. Agregaría Anathema. Que pereza con la gente que no supera el cambio y menos cuando los comparan con bandas shoegaze, que ni al caso.

Yes, a natural progression indeed, but I would still love if they recorded an album in the style of Black Brick...after that, they can go techno, as far as I am concerned
