I think Zinchenko will play as CDM, Tierney believe or not is return to Arsenal, if he can't be sold, he will be new different option to Timber at left back af least 1 year. Zenchenko can't run fast or master positioning defence like Monreal and opposition wingers exploit that weakness. Last year Arteta experimenting Zenchenko as CDM and he didn't dissapoint, he has quality to play there.

I'm a villa fan and to put it in perspective we've just paid 40+million for Ian Maatsen!! Don't get me wrong I'm absolutely buzzing with this transfer, but even though he's a full Netherlands international he didn't get into the team at the euros. Whereas he was Italys best defender. Similar age, both left footed, so considering all of that Arsenal have got a decent player for a decent price.

I have to say this is an outstanding signing by arsenal. Like you say Guehi would be going for nothing less than £60m, we’ve just seen United pay £55m for an unproven, promising 18 year old. Arsenal have managed to get Italy’s 2nd best defender and most promising talent for £37m. And if I’m not mistaken, he’s also only going to be on 60k a week!!! Almost guaranteed to be able to sell him on for huge profit in a few years if they choose, or they’ve got amazing competition for both Gabriel at LCB and Timber at LB. Fantastic by Arsenal

This is why there shouldn't be concerns for arsenal fans when it looks that arsenal are moving slow in the transfer market. We are being smart with our money, not just paying what the clubs want and we are being specific about the profiles we want, not just rushing into who is our best option without properly evaluating. Still 5-6 weeks of the transfer window left. I can still see 1 or 2 more signings for us to add to the squad. probably a midfielder and an attacker.
