Came here to watch SkapeGote do some classic SkapeGotin’ and certainly was not disappointed!! Once he found the storage units and figured out how to play the game, it was off to the races! But the thirty minutes or so beforehand were also wildly entertaining!!! SkapeGote……OUTTTTT!!!! 🎉🎉🎉

The dumb part about this game is that there is actually no point to working towards getting your own shop. The taxes and wages you have to pay once getting an actual shop eat all of what would otherwise have been profits. And something in the code triggers that makes the price of storage units increase drastically while at the same time drastically reducing your luck in terms of what's actually inside them. You're far more profitable just operating out of the swap meet stand you start out with than bothering to open a shop. The only thing that's worthwhile to spend your money on is the smallest box truck. That makes it so that at least it's enclosed so stuff can't fall out or fly off of your truck, and it's more than enough room to be able to hold several of the obnoxiously large items like the battery cars, bikes or computer chairs. There's really no point getting the bigger trucks because you can't buy enough storage units in a day to even come close to filling up the small one.

Just looking at this game, brought a particular train of thought to mind. The graphics of a game do not equate to quality, they only add or detract from the experience. The game clearly uses some preset assets, and that isn't an issue by itself, it's the sweatshop level UI and gameplay. This premise is good, cookie-cutter, but okay. Im not intending to bash on games like this, it's just dissapointing to see blatent cash grabs. If the gameplay were of equal or greater quality to the graphics id probably play it, but alas. TL;DR Some games that don't look great, like MSC or TLD can be great if the gameplay makes up for it

This definitely feels like a do the tutorial kind of game. It's great that you was able to figure out what you was supposed to be doing. The green prices is generally the lowest you should go and the red prices is the highest the customers are going to pay.

Tip: whenever you’re at the market and you get in your truck it automatically closes your business. Just reopen - the game let’s you know when the market is closed.

My grandfather would always have the Rockford files playing when it came on TV in my later teens on the retro TV channel, was fun watching the malaise era cars go at it occasionally.

I think for a simulator they did pretty good compared to other simulators on the driving part just takes getting use to steering.

'Minimum Viable Product' (MVP) typical Steam asset-flip 'game design' at its finest. Key word being 'minimum.' Questionable part being whether it's even a 'viable product' for anything other than free. There are hundreds of full games (unlike this type of Steam-ing pile of trash), and tens of thousands of free mods that have more thought, effort, and competence invested, than the endless deluge of scam being released on Steam, where, for $100.00, you can release any junk. A coin toss in terms of 'buy, steal, or ignore?' even if free. I mean, how many self-respecting thieves, robbers, or (digital) pirates with a bare minimum of taste and sophistication (or sense of self-worth, or any standards at all), would even bother stealing roadside trash or Steaming piles of turd? Not many - more effort can go into that activity, sometimes, than in some of these 'Minimum Viable (?) Product' asset-flip scams. Well, _'there's a sucker born every minute,'_ and _'There's a mark born every minute, and one to trim 'em and one to knock 'em,'_ - and there is no product, no matter how bad, how poorly and cheaply made, and no con, no scam, no matter how low-effort, no 'Moon rock' or 'pet rock' swindle that (at least some) people won't buy.
