Ive literally practiced for nearly 2 years now, and pretty constant with my practicing on a daily. I still cant get it to spin, ive tried everything, even a couple of dudes at cardistry con gave me pointers... Still no spin. This is the mother of all cardistry moves.🔥

Something that *might* (or might not!) help some who are really struggling with this is to try what my friends and I used to do when we were kids: try it with an old vinyl record album sleeve. You can find them in pawn shops for a dollar or less. Once you get that, move down to smaller things like maybe a filing cabinet folder 📂. The record sleeve being square makes it a LOT easier, as does a piece of folder if you cut it square. Then maybe cut along one edge to make it more rectangular. If it’s still bigger and heavier than a playing card it’ll be easier than a card, but just keep moving down in size when you get good at each different size and shape as you make it smaller and smaller. Before long you should begin to notice something pretty cool, which is that before long, you can spin all *kinds* of things that are flat. One of my old buddies got to where he could do this with a coffee table in their living room.

I'm having problems with getting the card on the tip of my middle finger. It just stays on the pad of the finger, like in a pirouette. How do I correct this? I can't seem to push my finger up so the card balances on the tip, the card just flies off or stays on the pad.
