Perfect videos for me. I really enjoy your verbalization all the way through. It keeps me in step with every procedure you are going through. Thanks for taking the time to make these and for sharing them with us.

I worked on many of those for 15 years. The most common cause for the anti-ice light was the leading edge. There is a spare sensor that can be swapped to but changing out the panel is a huge deal. It could also be the throttle switch, but either way, it's a temperamental system, not easy to troubleshoot.

@@FlyWithNoam That really brings back memories. I think I still have the troubleshooting guide from Flight Safety, 1990. I'm definitely too old now to be crawling in and out of that tail section to t/s and change bleed valves, etc.

@@FlyWithNoam No honestly they are brilliant, from a private pilot perspective myself, it is great to see how you fly larger aircraft. I'd love to end up flying jets like this around.

Thank you for the technical videos, I really enjoy them. Your professionalism from being a top athlete shows in your flying. Last Sunday night, I relocated my T210 over to KDHW for maintenance and had a concerning fuel surge during the approach that got me to ask for vectors, and then direct. I kept my altitude of 2500 until about 3-4 miles out, but bled the altitude and energy perfectly to cross the numbers at around 72kts and around 63kts at touchdown, when my right main tire blew. Thank God I bled my speed out as the plane wanted to make a right turn, but I was able to keep the right tire on the runway until around 15 kts and the nose until around 5-7 kts. I wa able to add power and get the nose back on the runway, but the right tire was mired on rain-soaked grass and mud. Took about 45 minutes for them to get the tug and "skate" for the tire, and another 20+ to tow it to the maintenance hangar. 4 month old tire I changed pre-emptively. (left needed to be changed) I initially thought I had a stuck brake and radioed the tower as such, but a plane waiting to take off from a taxiway radioed that my tire blew. Something you hope to never have happen, and be prepared for. Safe flying and thank you for the videos!

@@FlyWithNoam Waiting for my mechanic to determine. I had the plane serviced by the KGTU local shop. I am still trying to determine why my trim system is worse after they serviced it, so having the DWH shop check if they bent the Jack-Screw or if it is just a failing Servo. If the latter, I am hopping it over to West Houston to get the avionics shop to swap the servo.
@charlesabdouch3052 Жыл бұрын
But I understand flying your plane miles away to get a competent shop to service it

Just be advised that if a brake does stick it will certainly blow the tire immediately upon touchdown

@@FlyWithNoam Turns out I had a piece of safety wire sticking through the tire and tube. So picked up FOD probably on the departure, and lost air pressure before I got to the destination.

I noticed, when you go flying, is always rain 🌧️ and bad weather 😊. Is that normal there? You need some sunshine ☀️ 😂❤

Don’t you need a ferry permit for that flight ? The aircraft was basically un airworthy.
@FlyWithNoam7 ай бұрын
You don’t. You check the minimum equipment list (MEL) and you see you can fly as long as no clouds or icing will be present for that particular flight.

Are those Telex 850's? How come you don't use Bose headsets? Just kidding, I have Telex 850's and I even use them in pistons with earplugs underneath. I'm a minimalist and like how the 850's are so compact in their case!
@igclapp Жыл бұрын
@@FlyWithNoam I wear glasses, so a big noise cancelling set is less than ideal. Plus Captain Boeing uses 850's (with "socks") so they can't be too bad.

Great video, your camera angles and editing is getting really good! Nice seeing different angles and views, I know that takes a lot of editing and time! I fly a much smaller plane as a PPL, but have posted flying videos myself and coordinating the camera angles during editing is work, so I appreciate the time you are taking to do that. I also like to do a lot of flight sim in X-plane, mostly to stay proficient, but I had to pickup the Citation II 550 in Xplane after watching your videos, I have learned a lot flying the that plane in the sim from your videos. Great area you fly in, I am in N. California, but flew up to KPAE when I purchased my last plane and flew it home. Keep the videos coming!

@@FlyWithNoam Glad to know its realtic, I have been using the performance charts that came with it and found a better checklist online. Also found systems manuals to skim through to go slightly in depth skimming through it. The performance is very close to the charts. It's a blast to fly!

@@FlyWithNoam definitely, if you have time and would enjoy it. Especially since you can confirm the realism and provide valuable tips. The one thing I noticed I have to work on is I tend to float down the runway a bit. I have minimized it using Vapp/ Vref and flying by the numbers but still feel like I float a bit. But again, watching your videos closely has been a tremendous help since you talk through an entire flight, a lot don't provide that much detail.
