I was initially hopeful that the Spanish driver might be a clean racer after you went side by side into turn one. Sadly that was dashed away moments later... I don't know how you deal with these things so well Rory, congratulations on the win!!

The 1 second penalty did seem extortionate considering he just clipped that area, 0.5s / yeah..... Could have accepted. Some of the penalties are a bit out of sorts but it's a quirk of the game we all have to cope with 😂

Cant say the same re enjoying this weeks race B. Been full of carnage and very desperate to pass drivers who will pass you at any cost. All it takes it to catch up with the car ahead and be slowed by them and the rest catch us up and then its a case of at the first corner they'vecaught me up, its a push to pass. That then causes me a loss of speed and the next one pushes you off and so on. I had enough by Tuesday of this type of racing. Well done to you, have to admire your skill and determination as well as having the patience of a Saint.

This race is a lot of fun, probably the first one I’ve ever done more than once and the first one I’ve tried in months. First time I did it, I qualified 3rd and finished 2nd, clean race. Every race I tried last night I was starting 6th and lower in a DR B lobby, constantly getting shoved off track, brake checked, and finishing horribly compared to the first race.

It’s funny you posted this, I have just posted a video of daily race B for a similar thing. Now as much as we try to avoid contact as you found, racing incidents happen, a slight tap under braking if you carry more corner speed or brake later then them or when somebody brakes mid corner for whatever reason. I have been loving daily race B but saved a replay to watch back what the guy I ran into was up to. He started off okay. But as soon as people make a bit of contact with him. That was it. He would hold off the brakes and shunt people deep into corners. Till finally another person he did it to, defend well and ends his stupidity. Even then, he tries to take out a whole bunch who are further back. It’s a shame. Mistakes happen but the intentional or vindictive ramming is so frustrating.

Blimey, that was a tight finish. So pleased you held on, he wasn't prepared to share the track at all, wouldn't have blamed you had you taken him out. He was making unfair passes on others too. I couldn't see why the Portiguese driver in the lead got a one second penalty after third took out second place at 8:28. He was well clear of the incident, and I couldn't see him off-track anywhere from the angle we had. Seemed strange.

Thank you very much sir. Thank you very much for making a video of such an exquisite level. The Spanish thing doesn't surprise me in the least, it's the scourge of the game. It cannot be uninstalled or fixed with an update. The Gt7 game is a 5 Michelin star restaurant, but landfill ingredients like that make for horrible dishes, figuratively speaking. Thank you again for showing your ability and the ways to overthrow this type of misery that the game has and that Gran Turismo sustains in its updates without being able to understand why. To understand, I refer to a moment in the video: ...in the first corner after the finish line and for the umpteenth time you overtake, cleanly, the unpresentable hillbilly Lambea_Javi34, he, lap after lap, hits you and intentionally crashes you against the fence . And this is where I can't stand Gt7's attitude towards their game. The player who is dirty multiple times IS NOT SANCTIONED on any occasion. The player who receives the indiscriminate act of a dirty driver is penalized for hitting the fence after being thrown against it. Horrible Gt7, Horrible. Rory, maybe they charged you for the fence 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 thank you sir.

No se puede desinstalar ni arreglar con una actualización. El juego Gt7 es de restaurante 5 estrellas michelin, pero ingredientes de vertedero como ese logran platos horribles, hablando en sentido figurado. Gracias nuevamente por mostrar su capacidad y las formas para poder derrocar este tipo de miserias que tiene el juego y que sostiene, Gran Turismo, en sus actualizaciones sin poder entenderse el porqué. A entender, me remito a un instante del video: ...en la primera curva después de meta y por enésima vez adelantas, limpiamente al palurdo impresentable de Lambea_Javi34, éste por igual vuelta tras vuelta, te golpea y te estrella intencionalmente contra la valla. Y aquí es donde yo no soporto la actitud de Gt7 con su juego. El jugador sucio por múltiples veces NO ES SANCIONADO en ninguna ocasión. El jugador que recibe el indiscriminado acto de un sucio conductor es sancionado por golpear la valla después de ser lanzado contra la misma. Horrible Gt7, Horrible. Rory, será que te cobraron la valla 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 gracias señor.

What’s hard about racers like this is that you never know when they’re going to act up. I thought lap 1 of race 1 was was fair, competitive racing but I guess he doesn’t like having someone faster than him. 😂

I disagree. Rory had the inside line and plenty of space and made his apex. The other guy should have known he was there on the radar. All in all it was a tiny touch and just a bit of a messy pass but nothing too dramatic. Subsequent driving from the other guy though was childish.

I have a question about the steering physics. With a road car and sport tires I can always tell in corner if I am rotating the wheel too far because the force feedback will either gradually or suddenly get lighter indicating a loss of grip. But with a race car and racing tires this often does not seem to work the same way. In a corner no matter how far I turn the wheel the force feedback pretty much stays the same after it initially gets heavy (it never gets lighter). I assume this is because of the high downforce. The only thing that changes as I turn the wheel more is the vibrations and tire squeal become more intense. So somewhere between no tire squeal/vibrations and very heavy tire squeal/vibrations there must be an optimal turning angle for the wheel given the current conditions. But if the force feedback stays heavy I’m not sure how to judge where that point is. For reference I’m on a Logitech G Pro. Does anyone have any insight on this? Is it just something indescribable that you get a feel for over time?

I'm Hungarian and I do love Spain and their people, their language (which I'm currently learning), their culture and everything, but I do genuinely think that the vast majority of them should not be allowed to compete in any simulator games whatsoever. And I'm not talking about skill issues. A lot of them are incredibly fast but they don't know racing etiquette. They play fucking dirty, and they get mad very easily which leads to utter chaos.
