You are doing a helluva great job at being calm Emily! I'm steering clear of media aside from twice a day. That said, I'm a recovering agoraphobic I'm used to spending time inside.

Thanks for this video! At first, I was super chill about the subject, but now I'm also with quarantines and restrictions so my anxiety has significantly increased. Thanks again so so much, your videos always help

Thank you so much for this video. I've been so anxious this past week. I'm at university and I live on campus. They've changed all of the classes to online work only to try to prevent the spread of coronavirus. There are no confirmed cases at my school, but a high school two towns over had a few confirmed cases, so they are trying to be cautious. I'm really glad that they are taking these measures, but it has messed up my daily routine with school, which makes me a bit more anxious. For me routine is very important and change is very scary. I also work part-time on campus as a housekeeper for the residence halls. Usually, I enjoy my job but recently we keep having these meetings about disinfecting everything and preventing the spread of coronavirus amongst the students in the residence halls and it's starting to really freak me out. My boss has said that I can take some time off if I need to for my mental health (I'm so thankful that she is understanding) but at the same time, I can't afford to not get paid. And I feel almost like it's my responsibility to go to work and do the cleaning to prevent the spread of the virus.

I’m getting a bit more anxiety about this whole thing everyday. Especially cause the US government is only worried about the economy and not trying hard enough in my opinion. I’m worried that my job is just gonna keep going no matter what and most people I know can’t afford to stay home so people are just gonna be spreading it around. Also someone I work with is traveling to a coronavirus hotspot this week and is planning to come back to work next week as normal. Ugh.

you're so right! it definitely feels the same here! people that cant afford to take Tim off don't really have a choice but to go to work especially people self employed etc... all you can do is ke washing your hands and trying not to touch your face! if you got it keep remembering it will likely be a cold and honestly this unknown I think is worse...

Thank you so much for this video. It is so scary, I have been housebound to Agoraphobia and Depression since 2007, but of course, my family members are not and they come and visit, they also have underlying health issues. Sending love and light x

I overcame my anxiety by reading Said Nursi's book: "Message For The Sick". I definitely recommend it to everyone. "O sick person who worries unnecessarily! You worry at the severity of your illness and that worry increases it. If you want your illness to be less severe, try not to worry. That is, think of the benefits of your illness, the recompense for it, and that it will pass quickly; it will remove the worry and cut the illness at the root. Indeed, worry increases illness twice over. Worry causes an immaterial illness of the heart beneath the physical illness; the physical illness rests on that and persists. If the worry ceases through submission, contentment, and thinking of the wisdom in the illness, an important part of the illness is extirpated; it becomes lighter and in part disappears. Wow! There's only 200 people in the country who have it and you know one. That's quite rare at this stage. Did they pick it up abroad?
