Thanks for sharing your experience John! Watching your previous videos has inspired me to completely rabbit proof my yard. They're being very destructive in my neighborhood, but after thinking long and hard, I realized how I could create a complete barrier. It involved pouring a concrete step underneath my porch entry gate. But it has worked! My video shows what I did, along with plenty of other animal precautions, lol. I hope you get things rectified. on your lot! For me, traps were useless. Carrots made no difference. But exclusion was able to work! 😉

I have an open area close to my plantings which can be flown into by predator birds. So no rabbits bother my plantings. Lots of grass for them to eat, as well.

Rabbits? I have wallabies, possums and at least one wombat which among them have eaten all my heritage roses. A young newly planted olive tree and the rosemary plants around it and lots of other stuff. 😭

We caught a rabbit but we had placed the trap in dense brush and we did not realize, it did not end well for the rabbit.

Rabbit trap - want one or ten. Wildlife is only precious when it they don't destroy all the work you've done and the ongoing cost. Gates are useless - rabbits tunnel. The word cute isn't in our vocab. Thank you John.
