Great conversation, subhan Allah! I first started studying Islam over ten years ago after leaving the Catholic Church. I recently came back to studying Islam after trying to be a secular atheist (astaghfirullah) for a long time without any fulfillment or meaning to life. Over the past six months I have started praying, listening to the Quran, and watching a lot of videos like this one. I spoke with an Imam back around 2011 and he did exactly what Yusha is saying. He gave me the message, a Quran, some other books to read, answered my questions about Islam, and then sent me on my way with no pressure. I live in a rural part of the US with no Muslims around, but channels like this have helped me so much in my studying and discernment. I have not made a sincere shahadah yet in front of others, but I feel it is only a matter of time. Insha Allah.

I hope you get enlightened coz we don't know how long we live. And tbh, I actually get excited when someone says he lives in a village or remote country side coz I believe its just a matter of time before the War takes place. I have been studying eschatology since about a decade. The most populated areas would be one of the worst places on Earth 🌎 to live in. And you don't need to testify necessarily infront of others, you can do it in seclusion because God/ Allah s.w.t. Himself is enough as a witness. Anyways, if anyone analyse History then its easy to realise that there isn't a SINGLE civilization in human History which hasn't been destroyed / punished /annihilated for their disobedience and sins. Be it - Babylonian, Mesopotamian, Indus Valley civilization, Persian, Roman, Assyrian, etc. etc. However, there are people who think that this Technologically Advanced Modern Civilization is an exception. We all should wait to see! This is the order of events according to my limited knowledge & understanding :- Collapse of Petro-dollar, Paper monetary system [(actual cause of WW3), many geo-political conflicts and situations are side reasons /smoke and mirrors] ~ 80% - 90% expected to die ~ Many years of great oppression & injustice, more than even now (probably 7) ~ lsraeI ruling state of the World (obvious) ~ Emergence of Mahdi (r.a.) - A Guided & Just ruler ~ Peace & Prosperity for a while ~ Coming of Dajjal/Antíchrist (their much awaited one-eyed Messiah) in Human form (live for 37 days & will do many miracles & many things) ~ coming of Eesa/Jesus (p.b.u.h.) & killing Dajjal ~ Peace for many years (some say 8-9 years & some 40) ~ Coming of Yajuj and Majuj (a corrupt ancient tribe) in large numbers & much violence & killing ~ Their destruction from an infection / disease on their neck by Allah s.w.t. ~ Peaceful death of all the believers from a breeze from Yemen ~ Destruction of the Kaaba 🕋 (in Mecca, Saudi Arabia) brick to brick by Dhul suwaq qatain (a person with short legs) ~ Dwelling of only Disbelievers and Criminals on Earth ~ The Earth will be cursed coz there will be no one to say La ilaha il Allah (There's no God except Allah) ~ Trembling of Mountains & shaking of the Earth (physical destruction of the World and the Universe). We have been already warned about it! And there is no city but that We will destroy it before the Day of Resurrection or punish it with a severe punishment. That has ever been in the Register inscribed. [Chapter 17 Isra (The Night Journey) : 58] 'That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not.' Quran: Chapter 4 An-Nisa (Women), Verse 157.

Really good points made at 1:02:00 . I think this is the biggest barrier to someone accepting Islam in the West. Some people have created this Us v. Them dynamic with Westerners which does nothing but make converting to Islam seem like a betrayal of one's people. As a American Muslim convert, this identity issue is something that I went through. Wearing a thobe, using all of this Arabic slang, etc. Establishing this new identity could be extremely effective for breaking barriers to entry. Look at the effectiveness of Black and Hispanic Muslims with creating that identity. These are the fastest growing groups of Muslims in America.

Mash Allah I was soo relieved when shaikh yusha corrected brother shuboor about manners and haw manners is a form or a way to invite others to Islam and I know that wasn’t the intent of brother shuboor he also was right on what he was saying but the way he put it out sound like he’s separating mannerisms and disregarding it from the Islamic perspective but he wasn’t intentionally doing that and Subhanallah I’m soo happy shaikh yusha corrected him and made it more clear so others can understand the point brother shuboor was trying to make. I would like you brothers to very much talk to people who stay with reverts example: I have a friend of mine she got married to a non Moslem man but later the man announced Islam then came the problems the woman wanted him to be perfect in all aspects of Islam Swalla Fasting Laili Dhuha Dressing Dhikir etc She wanted him to go through all those in just a block of eyes,so,the man saw that was heavy fir him and denounced Islam when she told me I just ended up in tears even I had to hung off my phone for few mins, Later she got a Moslem man who was totally out of Islam only name then she started complaining she got divorce and started regretting why she left her first husband.🥺🥺🥺

You have to tell them what Islam ACTUALLY requires of them, but it's up to them to submit. ISLAM is NOT supposed to be just as easy as non-ISLAM is. The 'not forcing Islam" is BEFORE you enter into this contract with Allah and the Muslim community. You're FREE to stay free from these obligations. Once you become a Muslim, you have to abide by its system of rules, which you SHOULD have known prior to entering into this contract. Are we to tell Muslims to NOT PAY THE ZAKAAH, but we would NEVER tell them not to pay taxes to the regimes that rule over us, right? Why do we have to take Islamic Zakaah so lightly, but treat taxes as if they're above every Islamic ruling?

Why the Western Du-ats are more successful in developing countries then in the developed nations or their own countries in term of conversions?. I've no answer. However it looks like that there are bigger challenges, and more effort is required in developed countries in da'wah! The test is harder to Du-ats in developed nations. InsyaAllah bigger rewards from Allah SWT are installed for them.

No. Allah has created us as HONOURED human beings. We DO owe each other respect solely on that basis, from the getgo. AFTERWARDS, IF you show me by your actions you want to degrade yourself, then I accept it. And if you improve, I accept it. The respect IS owed from the beginning. AFTERWARDS, it is earned by acting well.
