I had mines today, I had surgery on my right testical. They were able to save it and blood flow came rushing back. I’m in pain but I take medication for it now tho. I woke at 6am in a deep horrible pain, something I never felt before. Remind you I’m 17 I’m rolling on the ground calling for my dad. And he rushes me straight to the hospital without question! (I thought I was gonna die😂) we get there, nurse made me take a ultrasound and found out it was twisted 15 minutes later had my surgery. My surgery procedure only lasted 20 minutes and I was done. Also, I woke up at about 2:00 a.m. and finally got the procedure done around noon time. I felt that kneeling down while sitting sort of alleviated the pain. The doctor tried to untwist it, but surgery was required (at this point, I didn’t care; I just wanted the pain to go away). Surprisingly, I didn’t experience too much pain thereafter. I was still wheeled out in a wheelchair, though.

your very lucky I got my surgery at 5am this morning and am 13. I sat in the ER waiting room for 4 hours in pain. I had to have 2 ultrasounds and after those ultrasounds I had to wait another hour. They numbed my area and twisted it back into place while I was awake to start the blood flow again I waited another 2 hours for them to fit me into surgery. Hey Larry, I also had testicular torsion surgery when I was 14. I didn't have surgery right away because it went away on its own after about an hour of excruciating pain. However, I still ended up going to the doctor maybe about a week later and it was determined that I should have the surgery anyways to prevent it from happening again. Yeah I don't know, but it's my understanding that I have something holding my left testicle in place to prevent it from moving around too much. I'm just doing research to see if there are any complications that can arise later in life because I've been having some strange symptoms. I'm a little worried but I'm hoping this too shall pass. Had my orchiopexy surgery 8 days ago for intermittent torsion. I was diagnosed with bell clapper deformity. Which means my epididymis isn't fully attached, leaving my testicles to hang rather horizontal in comparison to others. This allowed my testicles to twist very easy..but also allowed them to twist back. My surgery recovery has been pretty smooth so far. Haven't even taken pain meds since day 4. Just thought I'd share my story...It's obviously rare to have bell clapper deformity, but I want everyone to be aware of it..because I was seen multiple times for the torsion...it had fixed itself and made a liar out of me, when I was right all along. If you feel something still isn't right, read up on the internet, be informed, and see your doctor again. It is important! Despite fixation, it may still be possible for testicle to become twisted again and is still very uncomfortable. If this happens, take a hot salt bath, then once done, lie on back in foetal position and gently push testicle away from body trying not to bias the direction since it is almost impossible to know which direction it is twisted in. This should untwist without having to have emergency operation. Seek emergency if pain and swelling.

So I just pretty much squished them and pushed them around, causing my testicle to turn, until the chords felt nice and straight again. 10 minutes later everything was back to normal. The swelling: gone. The pain: gone. Surgery: avoided. Hotel: Trivago. Edit: turns out it was probably just varicocele

I started having a dull ache but not too bad, in the morning i didn't feel it anymore so i don't understand why sometimes its get aches and cramps i know there's nerves down maybe thats why idk.

Same story except I was a bit older. Despite fixation, it may still be possible for testicle to become twisted and is still very uncomfortable. If this happens, take a hot salt bath, then once done, lie on back in foetal position and gently push testicle away from body trying not to bias the direction since it is almost impossible to know which direction it is twisted in.

In my experience with Testicular Torsion. I woke up one night when I was 7 in a severe amount of pain and had surgery to correct it. although I had remained in pain down there, throughout the last 18 years from time to time ranging from mild to severe pain generally lasting from 20min to 2h. after numerous tests over the years and confirming no trace of infection or epididymitis or anything presenting as a problem under professional medical care. The decision was made by my urologist the same surgeon that originally did the surgery years back! decided that the stitches he did before did not hold or stay in place. Fast forward to now, I had surgery done on both sides stitching the testicles in place in 2 areas of both testicles! this was just last Monday and currently still recovering from said surgery. A question to all the guys out there and you Edward, do you all think the pain stops now?

facebook.com/LetsTalkAboutTesticularTorsion HEY EVERYONE! 5000 views! What a way to begin 2017! I just wanted to say how thankful I am for all the thoughtful comments that have been left by people who have either gone through testicular torsion themselves or know of someone who has :) I know firsthand how INCREDIBLY embarrassing/awkward the condition can be. Ultimately, the more dialogue and conversation we can inspire, the more likely young boys will seek help early. And that's certainly a very VERY good thing! When I first made this video, I wanted young people to know that they were never alone and there's a WHOLE community of people (whether family or online) behind, supporting them. This post has been from a long time coming, and after months of planning during our HSC year and seeking sponsorship and grants from local businesses, one of my closest friends, Andi Yao, and I are proud to announce a community action project - ¡Ouch - aimed at inspiring conversation on male reproductive health. It's a MASSIVE project that we've been organising and planning for the past few months. We're thinking of creating some INCREDIBLE multimedia content in this upcoming year and posting regularly on how to look after your health ie. testicular self-exam. We really hope this will get more people talking about testicular torsion and create a respectful online community where people can share their own experiences, love and support for others. If you'd like to show your support, we won't be asking for any donations, just drop us a like and follow on our official Facebook page :) ¡Ouch - facebook.com/LetsTalkAboutTesticularTorsion/

If this happens, take a hot salt bath, then once done, lie on back in foetal position and gently push testicle away from body trying not to bias the direction since it is almost impossible to know which direction it is twisted in. This should untwist without having to have emergency operation, though fixation is recommended if torsion does happen. It is unlikely you will be able to relax enough to untwist torsion yourself without medical help, but it is possible if you do not panic and can stay calm.

I'd say pride and masculinity are the two biggest forces keeping young guys quiet. When I was 13 I was lucky enough to have this happen to me... My story played out rather differently though. It ended up being rushed in for emergency surgery. My doctor called ahead to inform the hospital so they were waiting for my arrival and all I can remember is the surgeons telling my mum to call any immediate family members who might want to say their final goodbyes as they weren't expecting that I would make it and as soon as a theatre was available I'm going in and this will likely be the last chance they will have to see me... I woke up after everything was finished to a mother in tears as she claims "they lost you a couple of times, son. They were being to worry about if they were able to bring you back the second time or not". I'm glad to hear that not all cases were like mine. The pain was that bad that I was hoping that I'd have died. It was more severe than anything I can even begin to explain!

@t-dt6004 жыл бұрын
@@eastendersfullepisode7256 sorry to hear, the best thing you can do is to have the surgery as soon as possible. The longer it's delayed the higher the chances are that you won't be able to have kids, or even worse, wake up. Believe me, if I could go back in time there's only one thing I'd do differently. I'd go back to that night, when I was in the shower and the pain started, and say something to my mum straight away. I've done a lot of things in my life that I shouldn't have, and I'm not exactly the nicest of people, however, the only thing I'd ever change or have ever regretted is the decisions I made on that night. Those choices changed the course of my life irreversibly and in ways I could never have wanted, or imagined. Stay safe.

Eastenders Full episode If it’s been nine months to a year and a half the probabilities of being Testicular torsion are close to none, The reason is testicular torsion is a medical emergency that requires emergent medical attention within hours of when the pain starts, this is because the tissue is dying from not having a oxygenated supply of blood. What you can’t have something called intermittent torsion where the testicle twists and untwists, so there’s times we have pain and then it goes away but then it comes back. The dangerous part of that the situation is that if it twists and remains in that position without untwisting back, you can lose your testicle. If you see that your testicle gets swollen we have an episode of uncontrollable pain for more than one hour, You should seek emergency medical attention without a doubt

I've got surgery when I was 14 and ended up losing my left ball, after surgery the Doctor told me that I should limit doing physical activities like running, jumping etc. because he said that my testicles aren't fully attached which makes it vulnerable to twisting.
