I'm so glad I found this site. I've suffered a concussion February 2021 Finally just had MRI of my brain and c-spine came back normal. Have an ENT appt next month. Since day one I have ringing in only my left ear/ with migraines. It's constant from the time I wake until I go to sleep. I hope we can find answers I'm not crazy I hear it. Any suggestions to take it down?

Maybe try an upper cervical chiropractor it's helped with my tinnitus somewhat but a lot with anxiety and headaches.

@@duncans4186 I'm so glad you are still with us. Thank God for that🙏 I'm glad I'm not alone in this, sometimes I swear people think I'm crazy..they just don't understand until you deal with it. How annoying it is, how simple things like music, mowing, hair drying or other noises aggravate it. Then the migraines/memory loss. I've since seen the ENT they said I've also suffered an Ear concussion with the head concussion. Still going for testing next month. I have had slight tinnitus in my left ear for years. Last week, I was in an accident and got a concussion. Since then both ears are constantly squealing at a high pitch. My right ear itches and is leaving liquid on my pillow. Seems strange after getting bumped on the head!

When I try to move my Head fast not too fast It hurts afterwards not for long but only for some time, Not dehydrated since urine is almost transparent, looked into types of Headaches feels most likely a tension headache, feel little pain on the forehead and sides of it. Can this be a concussion, also are some people more likely to get concussions as compared to others.

Also when I try to punch in the air 😅, the same kind of things occur maybe because of the poor form/posture, It feels like that when I punch my shoulder and that part of chest moves a little and that shock moves up my neck and head. Could this also be because of weak neck and head muscles?
@TheoneD113 жыл бұрын
Hi doc. I had Tinnitus 3 weeks after bump to my head. ENT originally denied concussion. 3 weeks later when Tinnitus started I had a middle-ear infection from sinusitis. 4 months later I still suffer from Postnasal drip and still on antihistamines. So yes infection do cause Tinnitus

So why does it go away when you start drinking liquor.. feel like it drowns it out or a pain killer. Kinda does the same thing
@CompleteConcussions4 ай бұрын
This could be due to muscular relaxation and/or a reduction in an anxiety response that could be contributing to it...however it will likely increase after as the inflammatory effects of alcohol take over
