The Mummy Logic

Күн бұрын

Hello everyone!
The Mummy Logic is an unfiltered and non-judgemental space for all families to hear and share their life stories through the viewpoint of ‪@sarahsarosh‬ and Mummy - Sylvia D’costa! 👩‍👧
Growing up, we all feel like our mother's logic doesn't make any sense - only to realise that their stories were all unheard of and how can you expect logic without reason?
so the Mummy Logic is going to allow that free space for all moms to bond with their children and feel comfortable accepting their mistakes, telling their stories and creating a safe, non judgemental community 💛

Love starting my day with these two! 🥰 This topic hit home! I’m sure a lot of us found this very relatable. The fact that you share your personal stories to portray the message is commendable. ❤ Love the honesty! I’m gonna miss this once season 1 comes to an end 🙁

I don't think many people understand what toxic parenting actually means.. Aunty brought out so many good points.. Personally I've faced toxic behaviour from my mother and saying this as no one would curse their own kids however mine did.. She is not a part of my life but before she left she cursed me that i would never get married and never be happy coz I'm ugly.. This has impacted my life even now.. Listening to the podcast i feel Sarah you have been very lucky and blessed to have good parenting... Maybe mistakes made but love how aunty accepts and apologises for it ❤️ take care always

Appreciate the fact that your mom does understand and accept the fact with whatever was done before may have not have been correct. There can be ifs and buts which should be talked out. Not everyone does it.. It is to understand the mental state of your child as well. Which does not happen these days. Open and good conversation Sarah ❤..totally relatable in every house hold. Once again ❤❤ to you MOM. She is ❤❤❤

Congratulations for discussing such a tough and sensitive topic. How do u both stay so strong while discussing such sensitive topics? I was choking and about to cry while listening to having faced the same pressure to get into MBBS and ultimately chose it to escape the "toxic" environment and not because I wanted to do MBBS. Though now I understand that pressure from parents was because they thought that was best for me. Thankfully God showed me to take a path what was ideal for me, and I went into clinical research and medical writing. More power to you, Sarah and Sylvia! Keep up this good work.

It is hard to stay with toxic parents actually, I've learnt one most imp thing that healthy communication, healthy environment and healthy boundaries should be there. Thank you so sarah for starting the mummy logic , today generation can learn both side like parents and child's and they will able to change their behaviour. Love you so much #SarahSquad ❤❤

Very nice topic u've chosen..I would only tell to all teenagers (genZ) one thing that u can never experience parents concerns , worries , expectations until u become parents urself.. a middle class women or men just give up on themselves as they become parents..and definitely it's their experience only which they didn't wanted their kids to suffer with... Either u call it toxicity or whatever but being a mother or a father can't leave their children on their own and learn... currently there is so much happening e.g. rapes , broken relationships , wrong friendship or didn't allow me to become model or anything..how parents can do that or let them wear whatever they want..No.. not possible... definitely they want their children to be safe ..

33:59 definitely agree with aunty. Every parents want their child to be excellent. And I think there is nothing wrong with that because of course everyone wants their child to be happy and excellent in whatever they want to do. Every parent wants the best for their child. But yes one should never put pressure on the child to be the best
