In one video, she sounds British when speaking English but in this, there's a bit of an Americanised twang! 😐 I thought Germans were taught English in either American or British schools, and they only attended one?

I think the most schoolbooks are trying to teach received pronounciation, because it's the most neutral accent. Also it depends on the teacher and the way he speaks. You actually don't have a choice which accent they're teaching you. Additionally you get highly influenced by social media while learning a foreign language. As an english learner myself I'm watching many series and youtube videos in english. Therfore I get an incredible high assortment of different english accents. So the way I speak is a bit mixed up. Maybe Lena had an english teacher, who talked a lot british english. But now she already spent a lot of time in native english countries and her accent changed probably.

In one interview, I saw her in she spoke with a English accent and In this interview she's talking with a american accent??? Strange.

English is her second language, so it's pretty normal not to have an specific accent.

Without trying to be funny with you, I know English is her second language as she is German. But I've never head a German that talks in English put on a English accent or any other accent on, so its strange to me.

Her English comes across as kinda forced...I expected it to be somewhat better for someone who already spent a significant amount of time on an international stage...oh well
