Everything about this is perfect. "Radar award for new artist" - As someone else already stated, rightly so for not turning up when you've been a giant of the underground scene for multiple years. Jarvis cocker listening to the redeemer. Jarvis cocker seemingly being aware that isn't dean blunt. The guy's outfit. His accent. The lanyard awkward misplaced on his collar. The hyperbolous thanks given in gratitude for a shitty award he doesn't want, to "the man upstairs", the slight pause/sigh before thanking NME. The utter lack of sincerity in his voice saying "I've finally made it". Walking off the 'wrong' way. I hate to be one of those dean blunt dicksuckers but i can't help but imagine the whole thing was meticulously calculated and prepared by DB.
