Many notes because hooo fuck this took me out: 1. Dean Winchester made this 2. You put so many scenes in here that no one talks about, whether they came before or after famous moments or not, and that made it so much more powerful 3. My jaw dropped about halfway through and I didn't realize until a minute later 4. I got teary eyed 5. The parallels in this are just beautiful. The angel blades, the 'I left but you didn't stop me', 'we got cas back. That's a Damn big win' etc. Incredible 6. Honestly i'd have to watch it again to provide further commentary and the fact that I want to at all attests to its brilliance. This is a work of art. Thank you so much for sharing it.

I've watched this so many times and love it so much! My favorite things: - 0:15 Dean's eyes move with the guitar - 0:48 Baby is the fancy car! - 1:22 The timing of this shot with the music absolutely kills me - "Eyes full of stars" always shows the twinkling - 3:18 those lips omg - 4:13 is so serious, really never gonna love again - All the little glances - All the changes are right on the beat of the song So beautiful

This was a wonderful video and please forgive me for going overboard but I’m in analyzing mood so here’s my commentary - 0:18 appreciated the car wave parallel that IVE NEVER NOTICED - 0:34 “I got some tricks up my sleeve” and proceeds to show how Cas tricked Dean and how Dean tricked Cas.. brilliant - 0:51 nice “fancy car” shot - 1:05 Loved the things that Cas taught Dean: the blood sigil thing (even though I also know that the sigil was meant for the “tricks” part) and the FREAKING spinny angel blade thing - 1:14 “You’re a Cowboy Like Me” Tombstone shot was what I expected and was not disappointed - 1:18 I like what you did with the “pushed in the dark” scene that was a really nice Destiel scene when Cas explains himself to Dean - 1:30 UGHH that “why I can’t help” scene is so underrated. And the whole “bandit like me” thing, followed by scenes where Cas is secretly helping Dean goes to the whole arc of Cas rebelling for Dean - 1:39 REALLY like that you brought in the beautiful Mary/John and Dean/Cas parallel - 1:49 cherished the “I’ll go with you” and “big win” scenes because those are big Destiel themes - 2:16 enjoyed Castiel’s little “I like that yeah” because why not - 2:30 the second “bandit like me” also works because it goes to seeing Dean and Cas as badasses because they’re “bandits” as badass boyfriends who can kill bitches and the “eyes full of stars” was well done. there was a lot of eye scenes you could’ve chosen and I think this one gave a really good “starry” feeling - 2:40 thank you for including the scene where Dean looks at Cas at Gas N Sip and I just think about how he COULD’VE told Sam to join him because it was Cas but he decided to just spend time with him ON HIS OWN and like- - 2:47 love the “skeleton” parallel with Dean’s mass murder and Cas’ mass murder followed with Dean and Cas murdering each other (or their choice not to murder each other because Cas kills all the fake deans but can’t bring himself to kill the real one) - 2:55 I love how you brought in how Cas affects Dean so deeply that Dean subconsciously created an alternate understanding of why he left Purgatory without Cas because his mind literally could not accept Castiel rejecting him and deciding to not leave with him - 3:01 thank you for including another big Destiel aspect with their whole “ask me to stay”/“stay without me asking” argument - 3:18 the lip licking for “hanging on my lips” is clever too along with the healing montage - 3:31 THE SHOULDER THING IS AMAZING. I hadn’t realized until now that Cas frequently, whether he’s aware of it or not, touches Dean in the place where he originally marked him! (I thought of the theory that says that Dean and Cas’ connection in hell was so strong that they subconsciously try to reenact that bond throughout the show with their touches) - 3:31 the empty as Castiel’s “trick up his sleeve” HURTS - 3:50 Really liked the scene where Dean asks God for Cas back simply because it’s one of my favorite Deancas scenes as well as the last two scenes you included with Dean and Cas reuniting All in all, it’s obvious you put a lot of consideration to this video and I appreciate that especially because I think Cowboy Like Me is the most Destiel song from Evermore so job well done :)

I just.... I hate what they did. I hate how they refused to acknowledge what this relationship actually was, how much potential it had to pave the way for some SERIOUSLY revolutionary television, and what it would have meant to the fans. I agree, it’s very painful how they handled things in the end. Especially with the lack of closure surrounding what may or may not have happened between the show runner and actors, writers or the network itself. Honestly, to cope (besides being on tumblr where I find it lovely how us fans have reclaimed the show and the characters) I just try to remember 15.18 and recall how much heart was obviously put into it. I’m so thankful to Misha for fighting to include the confession scene as part of Cas’s ending because everything else aside it’s still really powerful (and I don’t think he knew how terribly they were going to treat that scene in retrospect.) I also like watching that one cast zoom-call video which came out before the network (most likely) started making actors retcon certain statements because Misha looked so HAPPY when discussing the episode. Also Mark Sheppard said “Destiel is forever” which I adore, ahh so many feelings. But yes, what the show chose to do in the end will forever be a tragedy in my opinion (I mean even with Destiel aside that ending was... Not Good. For any character at all. I could rant about that all day.) This is why I consider it non-canon lol- in my head they get Cas back and TFW continues on their merry way, very much alive 🙃

But anyway, if you search google with Dean's sentence in quotation marks, preceded by the phrase 'supernatural transcript' (outside the quotes) then the episode should come up.
