Phenomenal review! It’s always great seeing a South African car reviewer, and being good at it is even better. Impressive that you did it in a single take as well 🤯 One question, does that instant torque shove last, or is it just initial and then dies off (akin to a diesel)?

What a compliment! Thank you soooo much! 🙏🏻 To answer your question, the torque shove lasts and it’s tons of fun! The car is limited to around 150km/h though, so you do max out at the car’s top speed quite quickly when you floor it all the way in sport mode. However…that doesn’t make it any less exhilarating! 🏁😜

Thank you! There is no word of when a full electric version of the Countryman will be available but there is talk of a hybrid model being available with the new shape comes next year 😉
