He deflects his discomfort and pain with laughing and smiling, while isn't fully comfortable with being vulnerable !! But I LOVE the side we get out of him once Rachel pushed him!!! He will make one girl sooo happy one day!!!

Dean straight up reminds me of myself. I've been bothered by why I've been routing for this kid (no pun intended). Everything he worries about, the reasons why I keep men at a distance, the reasons why I don't think I deserve better is similar to Dean's experience. My family is a bit dysfunctional and not cookie cutter. I get terrified opening up and am a little insecure. I hide it all behind smiles and politeness hoping to make up for something...not sure what. But...this unfortunately isn't it for him. His forever isn't with Rachel, she's an important part of his journey. One day one lucky woman will have this man @ #deanie_babies

To be honest, I thought that I was not gonna like Dean based on the 1st night when he met Rachel at the show. But I got it completely wrong with him. So mature, beautiful story, good looking. I hope he can become the next bachelor. he would be more interesting to watch than Peter (whos' boring af) He's defnitely gonna be a star after this show with or without the bachelor gig. I love Dean and actually think he and Rachel are good together, but I think they are at different levels of their life as I think she is ready for marriage and family, and he just doesn't seem ready. I'm not trying to be rude about this, but with Peter, I don't see her a successful, educated lawyer with a guy who is a personal trainer. I also think he is the suave one (not Bryan). I like Eric but I just don't think there is long term potential. Bryan to me, is the ideal match for her- both highly educated, outgoing, and they seem grounded.
