You guys are right. Jo was suppose to be Dean's main love interest but everyone in the fandom didn't like that. Plus back then the writers did anything to please the fans because of ratings. Obviously now they don't have to worry too much about that. And I also think some of those fans wanted Dean for themselves. My friend Brie is a Dean girl and she originally did not like Jo. She sent me a bunch of Fanfics about Dean by different writers and she wouldn't stop until I put everything down and read them. I didn't really read the titles kinda skimmed that part (don't ask me why) and as I was reading them I asked her if these were Chestervelle stories. She said they were Dean x Reader stories and asked me why I thought that. I told her the way the personalities of the 'reader' was portrayed sound a lot like Jo regardless of the writer. I guess she took a moment to contemplate what I said and later she responded saying "oh my Lord, you're right!" Now she's a hardcore Chestervelle fan.

Maybe they could do something like someone brought her back to life (most likely an angel ***cough Metatron or Gabriel cough***) but her memory was erased yet still remembers how to fight and the person who brought her back used her as leverage against the Winchesters (maybe when she remembers herself, the Winchesters are in trouble and she ends up saving them for a changed. Plus it would be ironic for her to save them when they were trying to save her).

as much as I loved Lisa and her love story with Dean but I can say that it was totally forced!creatures wanted Dean to marry Jo in the end but because of stupid fan girls jealousy it completely changed in season 3!imagine Dean just meet a woman named Lisa and they had spend a weekend together and became the love of each others life for the next 10 years(without even meeting again)!not only totally out of Dean's character but totally nonsense!like turning a fairy tale to an adult story which can never happen!

The only reason they killed Jo off was because of all the hate they got from crazy fan girls (which is what happens everytime Dean is given a romantic interest that goes beyond a 1 episode fling). Makes me sad because she was by far Dean's best match and I would've liked to se ehat they could've been.

Μαρια Ιωαννιδου Dean doesn't get any romance (besides a one episode fling) because of the crazy fan girls who literally lose their minds if the writers try to put Dean in any sort of relationship. Jo, Lisa, and Anna all got a lot of hate solely because they were supposed to be long-term romantic interests for Dean, and they were actually killed/written off because of it. Then there's the Destiel shippers who are convinced Dean is in love with Cas and freak out over any girl that threatens that relationship (despite Jensen Ackles saying that Destiel doesn't exist, he has not played Dean as being attracted to Cas, and that Dean is straight). Jo was supposed to be a long-term romantic interest. And when that didn't work out, they had Anna, who was supposed to be a love interest for Dean (she was actually intended to be his series endgame). But, like Jo, she got so much hate that they killed her off. Because of that, they've completely given up on any romantic storylines for Dean (and Sam, for that matter) in later seasons.

To be honest supernatural has a unique way to make me like a lot of ships from the start especially with dean (so it might be jensen, not spn) and that doesnt happen a lot. I could see dean being in a relationship with anna, bella, that yoga instructor with the kid, and my personal favorute jo. Now that you are telling me there is not even a little character development from relationships, i am not sure i wanna go that far in the story. Its not normal or believable for a person to have only one important relationship( his brother- nonromantically)...

Μαρια Ιωαννιδου Yeah, it is sad especially because not all the fans are like that. A lot of fans actually liked Dean/Jo, Dean/Lisa (the yoga instructor), and Dean/Anna. I personally loved Dean with Jo, but I also really liked him with Anna. I didn't like Lisa just because I didn't feel like she was a good match for Dean. It's just that the "crazy fans" are the most vocal. That being said, I wouldn't let the fact that Sam and Dean don't ever have long lasting relationships stop you from watching and enjoying the show! They do develope non-romantic relationships with other characters (Bobby, Cas, Charlie, Crowley, Rowena, Kevin, Jody, Donna, Claire, Jack). Also, the premise of the show is the brotherly relationship between Sam and Dean, so no matter what that will always be the center of the show (and I think that's a good thing!) Also, Jensen and Jared have explained that it really doesn't make sense for the boys to be in a committed relationship with anyone because of the lifestyle they live. They are always on the road, risking their lives on a daily basis, and getting close to anyone is dangerous because it puts that person at risk and is also a weakness for the boys that their enemies will use against them. That's why Dean/Lisa could never work out - she didn't fit in his lifestyle. Although, that's also why I like Jo because she was also a hunter so she could look out for herself and was able to understand Dean's lifestyle. I liked Anna, too, because as an angel she could look out for herself and as a supernatural being she could also understand Dean's lifestyle. Still, the show is and always will be about Sam and Dean, so while I'm still a little bitter over losing Jo and Anna, I continue to watch and enjoy the show because it's not about the romance. It's about the brothers. So I still recommend watching the show!
