Dean Lewis is an Australian singer who rose to stardom rapidly after releasing his very first single ‘Waves’ in 2016. He was not very popular prior to his debut single’s release, even on the digital music platforms. The young Sydney-born artist first witnessed overwhelming response from the Australian audience, and eventually his popularity reached fans across the world. Lewis received the platinum certification for his debut song.
His debut album, which featured some of the most popular songs in 2018, received a gold certification as well as topped the Australian music sales charts. The single ‘Be Alright’ received a platinum certification in several countries and topped the Australian, Singaporean, and Belgian charts, among others. From being a fairly unknown figure in the music industry, trying to find his feet, Lewis was catapulted to international fame within a few short months. He has always been a big fan of pop and alternative music. Several European bands, including the English rock band ‘Oasis,’ have deeply influenced his musical style.
