Im so thankful to have grown up in the era to remember watching Deans matches thru wcw and beyond. Such mad, mad respect for him. The contrast of him always being so serious, and hes funny as hell is amazing. I know the topic of Benoit is so touchy, but i cant imagine how hard it has to be for those who called him a friend, like Dean and Jericho. Thank you for having all the guys Ive watched through the decades on here. Incredible trip down memory lane.

Look, the person that did what Benoit did was not the same Malenko was huge friends with for years prior. It doesn't stop me liking their old matches. I think that WWE made Benoit want to get even more ripped, so he took even more steroids in it. You KNOW all in WWE got caught taking them, that's why WWF became E, so Vince couldn't face jail if I'm right. In Benoit's case it was just too much.

Two of my all-time favourite wrestlers are Dean Malenko and Arn Anderson. They're so talented that they could wrestle a broom and make it look good. It was a treat to watch them in the ring! WWE fans today have no idea what they missed out on. Dean wasn't about high spots, or getting in all his moves, or any if that crap. He was about taking his opponent through a technical workout, while making it look good; and it looked good, because most of his moved were real. He could stretch just about anyone. Much respect, Dean! Thank you for putting in a good show!

Man I remember back late 90s or 2000 watching ya at the local center here one of my favorites I was always a huge big Dean fan. I just got home from the military USMC and a guy in the row in front me was haggling ya and you tried to spit on him and end up spitting on me I felt so disrespected at that time but got over it . STILL A HUGE DEAN FAN ,ONE OF IF NOT THE BEST IN THE RING. ID HAVE TO SAY THE BEST. WELL DONE

DeanMalenko was always one of my favorite Cruiserweights in WCW besides Eddie,Benoit,Jericho and Mysterio,Also one of my favorite top matches with Dean was him against Rey as the cruiserweight champion at Halloween Havoc 96 because they lit the place up that night.

Everybody praised Rey, Kidman, and Juventud for the great cruiserweight's moments and being innovative for the division. But for me, it was Rey, Eddie, Benoit, and Jericho plus Ultimo Dragon that started it and put that division on the map. Besides Rey, by the time these guys had moved on to the TV and Tag team titles pictures. The cruiserweight division wasn't the same.
