As someone who comes from a non-Christian background, I have always wondered... Why do "Christians" celebrate Christmas?...Jesus was not born on December 25th..all facts indicate he was born a couple of months earlier... in fact most Christmas customs, as well as the date of December 25th, have to do with pagan festivals such as Roman Saturnalia and the pagan god Mithras, etc etc.. boy Jesus' sure must be proud of you guys!...🤔 lolol

Freshman year in high school fretting over Algebra I and Latin I. I'd take my worst day back then over my best day today! To think in the next 4 to 6 months all hell would break loose with tragic deaths in 1968. Mom and I loved watching the Dean Martin Show on Thursday evenings back then. I'd come home from my paperboy route collections around 7 pm or later with a few donuts from Dunkins on the way home to enjoy when Dean came on, a little ritual of ours in the cold weather months in late 1967 to around March of 1968 era. All that aside this was a timeless Christmas Special that plays well even 55 years later, so very wholesome with excellent charitable giving at the end to thousands of children.

Hi Dianne Marshall, Actually Dean & Frank were completely opposite personalities. 🙂 Frank was a party animal. Dean was a homebody. When seen drinking, the glass Dean was drinking from nearly always contained apple juice. Franks' glass always contained Jack Daniels. During their Rat Pack days, after their adlibbed stage antics, Dean would go straight home to his wife & children. While most nights, Frank would continue partying until sunrise. This is NOT to say Frank was a bad husband & father. He was devoted to his wife & children. Regardless of their differences, the respect & brotherly love they had for each-other was clearly abundant & genuine. The Day Dean died...Christmas Day...Frank was the last nonfamily person Dean spoke to. Merry Christmas from Yucatan Mexico, Ben
