Yes how refreshing to watch videos of Dean. I just can't take these shallow untalented stars today like Jimmy Kimmel and that obnoxious Stephen Colbert. Dean was a top notch singer, actor, comedian and TV show host. None like like him today.

I remember as a kid in the late 60s watching the Dean Martin Show with my Dad .. Dean was such a great entertainer , a talented singer and those hilarious skits.. I always liked that fact that he would premier young musical groups on his show , bands like The Rolling Stones, The Who etc... He was 66 years old in this particular interview and still a pretty spry guy .. Sadly 3 years later when Paul died during a training mission,, Dean was never the same.. People close to him say he never really got over the loss of his Son Paul and was never the same person right up to his own death.. RIP Dino 😌

I love to see interviews and videos like this, when Dean was sort of 'off duty' as you might say. It's lovely to see him when he was relaxing and not working, it's almost like being part of an ordinary conversation with him, rather than a regular promotional chat show interview, if that makes any sense. The only thing for me personally that would have been the icing on the cake would have been if Jeannie had been there with him because I am a huge admirer of her, as well as a fan of Dean. I think she must have been a very strong and caring woman for all she took on when she married him, raising all his children from his first marriage along with their own three when she was only in her twenties herself.

Linda Shelley Jeanne was actually with him on that trip. They had sort of reconciled, although they did not remarry. There is video of his concert that he refers to in this interview, and he even mentions her in the show. I'm sure she was with him there at Wimbledon.

Always the "drinking questions", which everyone knew was nonsense, even back then. He handled reporters well. Today, celebrities would remove their mic and storm off. Sadly, he never recovered after the death of his son Dean Paul in 1987 and became reclusive. One of the greats and far more popular in those days than people today can imagine.

Examine the current state of the world. 2 Timothy 4:1-5 states "You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. People will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!" Jesus is coming back. Are you ready?
