The korean made Deans are £1000 but the U.S made ones are like $3100 and they are a little heavier and better build quality, unfortunately I couldn't get one in the UK but I had to settle for the korean made one.

Best review I've seen on this guitar yet. I absolutely love mine . I agree it has to have 10-52s on it. Tried a lighter gauge and quickly went back . Mine is older like yours still has the cuts on the body wish they would have kept doing that. Can't speak for the new ones yet but if anyone is considering buying one. Do It! My VMNT DCR plays better than my USA Jackson KV2.

Love these reviews where the owner had time to really play with it and know the instrument instead of stating facts out of the box. I’m with you on the 10-52 strings, the tension makes it easier for me to play Megadeth stuff, faster response between the pick and strings. Plus the tone is amazing.

I got this guitar as well and although it's not as good as the jackson Mustaine model it's still really great. The pickups sound really good and the neck is quite comfortable. I only have 2 complaints: the fret work could be better and the bridge seems a bit cheap (there was a sharp edge on it which is a bit annoying for palm muting) not a deal breaker in anyway though
@JP-lz4fp
@JP-lz4fp 7 жыл бұрын
Kaosware i have the same guitar, more specifically the fear edition. the bridge is tone pros and not just a noname bridge. i dont know about yours but mine combined with the grover tunners it stays in tune for ever and it sustains for days...much more than my gibson. I agree about the fretwork though...not bad but could have been better
@KaoswareMetal

Iordanis P. don't get me wrong, i have no issue with tuning stability, just the bridge feels a bit rough
@JP-lz4fp
@JP-lz4fp 7 жыл бұрын
yeah ok...its just a bit surprising...cause mine is perfectly made no sharp edges or anything. On the other hand that doesn't apply to the cheaper version the VMNT-X which has a noname Chinese bridge
@VicSellsPeace
@VicSellsPeace 5 жыл бұрын
@@JP-lz4fp How does the vmntx compare?
@JP-lz4fp
@JP-lz4fp 5 жыл бұрын
@@VicSellsPeace the x edition has passive pickups and a bolt on neck. It has grover tuners as well so it stays well in tune. Surprisingly I found the neck to have better access to the highest frets. It is a good guitar for the money. I have upgraded the pickups though. Fretwork is...ok. the other difference is that the neck is maple and not painted but almost the same size and the fretboard is rosewood. Overall the VmnT is a superior instrument and looks more posh as well, but the x is very good for the money.

I've got 3 KV-1 Mustaine Signatures from the late 90s as well as a USA Stradivmnt and Angel of Death (USA as well). The Jacksons blow the Deans away. It's not even close. The tones of the Stradivmnt are incredible. The KV-1s with the LSR tuners and Kahler are second to none in my opinion.

The end of the video was really awesome, man!! The sound of the guitar, the way that you played every note , i mean, great ending! I think it would be great if you could do that but with full songs, not just pieces, full songs of megadeth with no backing track, just the sound of the guitar, THAT GUITAR, which is the same i got.

I'm interested in picking one up. My center piece at the moment that I'm playing is the Ibanez Jem. I love the Jem... I'm personally a fan of Floyd Rose myself. A lot of people complain about it because they don't really understand how to tune it. You have to tune them following an F chord on the bottom E so you aren't chasing your tail then after tuning all of your other strings tune your bottom E. It stays tuned Forever and a day. But I think I'll pick up a Mustaine as it sounds incredible. Just isn't as finely made as the Jem.

i have played a Jackson King V in a music store in my country and i've owned the VMNT Fear until i sold it in 2018. Few things are different if you hold the guitar for a while. The first is the neck feeling: the Jackson feels a bit thicker (in my opinion). The second one is the body: the VMNT has the bevel on the side of the body and a bit bigger than the King V.

@sonnic1995
@sonnic1995 5 жыл бұрын
Which model of the Jackson KIing V? it is not the same a JS32 KV to a JS32-T or a Pro Series or an X series, or a signature King V... shape is the same, colors may not be the same on every model, but the hardware it's different, (pickups) JS32 comes with "generic" jackson pickups which are throwaway pickups, unless you're a starter, they're not bad for a beginners. obviously the most expensive model comes with better pickups, that's why i'm asking. As for the VMNT it's already a signature (Dave's) so there's no way around it, besides tune-o-matic or Floyd Rose bridge and the color or image it has, every one of them comes with everything Dave asked dean to put on it, the pickups are Dave's signature also (they're called Seymour Duncan Live Wire). My recomendation is you should check test for the pickups, decide which model of the Jackson you would pick and check which pickups it has, and compare the sound to a test of the VMNT.
