That would be sweet! Pretty different bands in a way. Primis has a very focused style and sound. Ween has a style and sound for sure but are more eclectic and emphasize idioms. Sidebar: saw both bands live a couple times. Gene is a way better singer than most people realize. Last time I saw ween, Gene's singing was basically pitch perfect and basically flawless overall. I couldn't understand it... it was maybe the best live vocal performance I've ever seen. Seen so many bands live and almost always the singers would either be weaker live or at least have some off songs or moments. Maynard from Tool for example, is a great singer but would always botch some parts and I noticed he was off-key for the first song or two. Seen them like 6 times. Seen other loved bands where the singer was much weaker live.

Having recently listened to the mollusk I can say with confidence that it’s fucking incredible. I think one of its greatest feats is the fact that it’s able to maintain its ocean theme even when the songs have nothing to do with the ocean. It still feels like it’s on the same stage the mollusk (song) set at the beginning of the album. Incredible

Seeing Dean and Les play The Mollusk is really heartwarming. I don't often hear musicians playing their own music so casually. They both just act like fans of the music. I love that they met at Alternative Nation. I was at that festival and VERY high on acid. I have no idea if my memories are in any way close to what actually happened but I remember during Primus' set there were fires burning all around the hillside surrounding the stage and it seriously felt like I was in the lowest levels of hell, and was loving every second of it. Faith No More performed after Primus and I remember Patton throwing himself into backflips during the song Caffeine, when he sings "I'm warning you!" Was just mind blowing!
