Dean Young: National Book Festival 2013

Dean Young appears at the 2013 Library of Congress National Book Festival.
Speaker Biography: When Dean Young received the Academy Award in Literature from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, it was noted that "Dean Young's poems are as entertaining as a three-ring circus and as imaginative as a canvas by Hieronymus Bosch." Young has received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Guggenheim Foundation and a Stegner Fellowship from Stanford University. "Best American Poetry" has been a frequent publisher of his work. Young's new collection is "Bender: New and Selected Poems."
