True story...before Bon died, he advised the rest of the band about Brian, after seeing him sing with another band. He thought he was great. It is thus partly due to Bon that Brian became their lead singer.
@dannybaker46413 жыл бұрын
I don't think I've ever heard that before Jeff. I heard they picked him because he screamed the best out of all the candidates but never heard that Bon even knew who he was. Either way it was a good choice for sure. i recall Brian saying he modeled his voice after Bon.

One thing you miss in the story is that Malcom was actually the driving force of the AC\DC sound. Malcom is the one with the white guitar in this video. He is the rhythm player and often lays down hte beginning sound along with his brother Angus. He died just a few years back and it was devastating to Brian and Angus. Their new album is dedicated to Malcom. He was suffering from loss of memory and dementia at the end.

This album, 'Back In Black', has sold about 45 million copies. It's right behind 'Thriller' in the all-time biggest selling albums. And you can thank the album's legendary producer, Robert John 'Mutt' Lange for the vocals; since Brian Johnson had never really sang up in that register, until Mutt urged him to. And that became his trademark from then on.
