Makita DJR186 recip saw jammed solid.

This makita recip saw seems to be burnt out. not doing anything them you pull the trigger.
The motor is fine. The problem is the saw is totally jammed.
water has got in and rusted the insides and top bearing on the armature.
A washout, new bearings and new grease and tlits soon up and running again.

5:10 what is that you're applying before putting rubber gasket on? Also what grease did you use in the housing assembly? Thanks

I’m wondering the same thing, my best guess is a type of sealant, maybe black silicone.
