Some time the way they have the button on case interacting with circuit switch below needs to be adjusted. Because it’s plastic when u push its not pushing hard enough on the switches underneath. They use like a leaf spring made of plastic that fatigues I heat it up bend it a little quench with wet cloth and quick and easy

For that core drill lever, what if you were to use a much longer screw for assembly, and change it after? That may allow you to "drop" the metal backer inside and pull it back.

Bought one of them durite boost packs around 2 and a half years ago. Heard alot of bad reviews about them but honestly can't fault mines. Stored in damp van, been used in the rain and just abused as I'm an agri mechanic. Apparently folk say the leads should be connected in a certain order for it to work but never had any problems. Only broke a clamp but that was due to being run over. 🤦♂️

I was wondering what the brown grease you use in a syringe is? I think it's been mentioned in older videos but i cannot remember which videos that was. Either way i wish you a happy new year!
@queendlb59463 күн бұрын
I believe it depends on the tool. Each tool will have a required amount and type of grease. Some manufacturers sell their own grease with a part #. It is important to use the correct grease. Too thick can cause tool to work too hard. Too thin gets too liquefied if tool gets worked a bit. If memory serves, I have seen him once in awhile put a slightly thicker grease than spec'd into a tool when he knows owner runs tool hard for long stretches of time where grease heats up so tool stays properly lubricated. My impression is getting the grease type correct and amount correct is pretty important 😊
@cetzkawatz3 күн бұрын

How good are the Eibenstock machines overall? Seeing how well the gearbox is lubricated is a good sign means this machine wont blow out gears on account of too little grease/oil or too heavy of a grease that will just fling off the gears and deposit itself in the housing until the gears are bone dry. Had a cheap crappy SDS drill once that had the wrong grease in it and too little aswell: Wasnt hammering well anymore, hammer tube was bone dry aswell as the gears and the heavy axle grease or something was all stuck to the housing.

Why won’t DeWalt emphasize the importance of keeping the nailers dry?? I see that Santa didn’t bring you a new square of plywood for testing nailers :-) then again… it must take three days to remove the old one from the wall with all the nails holding it on. I always wonder what must be on the other side of that wall? Some poor office person that’s persecuted daily by nails coming thru the wall by their head
@frankblack14815 күн бұрын
For 2025, for at least a month or two, would it be worth keeping a running total of the €€ of machines you ‘save’ from the scrap bin? Not talking about general services… but the tools that you know for a fact would be binned if it weren’t for your repairs. Cost of replacement tools must surely hit 6 figures each year.
