I passed the Core1! the information here really helped! most of the questions i got were based on network configurations/hardware configurations and troubleshooting connections and boot process the two times i took the Core1 exam. Not too much about the command prompt. Laser printer mostly and only 1 question about thermal printer, not inkjet printer at all. Simulations one laser printer, setting up a SOHO network, setting up a desktop for gaming/home use. i hope this helps and good luck! @@bridgetbanda9357 I wrote at jumping bean in Randburg but if you go to CompTIA website they will give you a list of places you can write which makes it convenient for us so that we can choose a place that’s close to you.

@@NkosiITsolution I used the scope that was provided by CompTIA website. Download the scope there and make sure you know each topic, the scope covers everything. What I did is I downloaded the scope then I ticked off the things I knew then the things I didn’t, I went through again. The scope on website is very good 👍

No 1001 and 1002 are retired exams. 1101 and 1102 are the current exams as of now

What Lebron said, the tests are usually in commission for about three years. 1101 and 1102 (you have to pass both to become A+ certified) came out in 2022, so sometime in 2025 the current tests will expire and be replaced.
