CompTIA A+ 220-1101 EXAM PREP Practice Test.

Yesterday I took the 1101 test (and passed). These questions are EXACTLY what I needed to study. This is by far, the most accurate set of questions for this test I've found. I looked around on the channel for something similar for 1102 but I don't see it. I'd love to see this same format for 1102 :)

@@alesharks5135 the real test questions are more complicatedly written in what they ask, you need to really focus on what the question is asking. There are quite a few performance based questions too so focus on that and you will be fine so long as you know and have studied the material

Question 41 @27:17 about frequency bands for 802.11 is not correct. 802.11ac in 5Ghz only, the correct answer is 802.11ax or 802.11n. Regardless, thanks for putting stuff like this together. I'll be taking my 1101 test in a few days and this is really helpful!

30:55 Can someone please explain why that would be the correct answer? I went with C, because I figured the rebooting could be caused by overheating of a component, such as the graphics card. My test is in a few days, so the sooner for an answer, the better. How was I supposed to surmise that the power supply was insufficient from the question?

From this example, there is no suggestion or indication that the gpu was overheating. Answer C only states that it's the gpu because it's that component that triggers unexpected reboots which isn't true unless the question provided that knowledge prior. Not saying a gpu can't cause a reboot, but it's more likely to cause the application you're running such as a video game or 3D rendering software to crash rather than to reboot the pc. A gpu drawing too much power however will cause the power supply to trip or shut down.

I don't remember which ones were on the exam I took specifically, I got my A+ a while ago. These exam dumps were taken from a paid source that gets exam data for IT related exams.

Isn't Question 68 wrong? 37:01 A network administrator was notified that laptop users are unable to access or ping network resources on the corporate network. which of the following things should the network administrator check FIRST? If DHCP was down they would still have access to the local corporate network resources using the APIPA address, they just wouldn't be able to access external networks or the internet?

out of all the answers DHCP would be correct ....the only thing close to being the answer would be DNS but we arent discussing a website issue....but a network. so IMO DHCP would still be correct

Question 40 is wrong. 802.11 ac has he only one frequency and that is 5. The correct answer is not even listed and that’s 802.11 n which supports 2.4 and 5.. You need to fix that..

Respectfully, if you didn't watch the video, you aren't in the position to say it's wrong. These are definitely the type of questions you will see on the exam. There are PBQ's as well, and those are roughly 25% of the exam, but this software doesn't have the ability to integrate those yet.

@@my-free-academy ive taken core 1 an 2 cummulatively about 6 times so far....i think i know what the questions look like lol also i watched majoirty of it....these questions are just a bit easy. i wish my 1101 was this easy lol
