I love the look of the drag bars 4-SURE and had them for a spell on my bobber. I ride the crap out of my bobber (long distance and all...) so I sadly had to choose function over form and went back to my 8". HOWEVER - they look badda$$

Hi there! debating myself whether or not to go for the drag bar as i just love the look and how mean it is! I'm just conscious about bending forward and riding for longer time periods. What are the risers options please and max that can go? Thanks in advance, btw great vids watched all of them!

2" and 3" risers are very common and lots of people use them with drag bars.

So I have the same overall configuration as your Bobber. I am considering some travel to out-of-state bike festivals as far away as Florida. I live in Phoenix, Arizona. My question to you is do you think a ride as long as coast to coast would be doable on your bike as you currently have it configured, specifically w/ the drag bars. My experience is that with the drags, you really reach into the bike and it’s quite a bit more aggressive of a seating position than w/ the OEM bars. Do you think I am being a little over zealous thinking of riding my Bobber 1K+ miles w/ drag bars. Thoughts? BTW, I am going to take on some 2-3 hour rides local to get a feel for whether a coast-to-coast ride might be reasonable/doable. My mechanic told me he wouldn’t even consider that long a distance on anything other than a true touring bike.

Haha yeah, the absolute longest I've been on this bike was 4 hours and I could not wait to get home! I'm not saying don't do it, but would probably be worth slapping on the stock bars just for something like that if you really want to do it.

So would these limit lane splitting opportunities as opposed to stock bobber bars?

You know, I've thought about this. We don't have lane splitting in Colorado but they just legalized lane filtering and I'm worried to try lol
