You and Whose Army is definitely one of my favorite songs on this album. "We ride ghost horses" SO COOL!!

This was actually the first Radiohead album I heard/got into. I was just buying tons of burnt CDs to listen to whilst travelling in SE Asia years ago and the guy selling to me was just chucking in loads of REALLY good choices that I had no idea about but this was the only Radiohead he pushed on me. So I listened to this album loads before hearing any of their more popular stuff and can’t help scratch my head and frown a bit when I read or hear people pooing on this album. I can’t help base everything I listen to of theirs on Amnesiac 🤪

Pretty much the same here. I had heard a couple of their songs and wanted to hear more, so I went to the local record shop and bought the only Radiohead album the currently had - Amnesiac. I loved it. Still do.

Apparently Radiohead played Knives Out to Johnny Marr and when he said it was great they included it on the album.

All hail to Johnny, as the song is super beautiful, and I can't imagine it not being on the album!!!

It's the other way around, actually. Beck's "Nausea" & "Black Tambourine" came out after this, have very similar guitar riffs, and they are close friends, who share the same producer (Nigel Godrich.)

His solo work of the 60s had a lot of Brel (French artist) songs, but r.econfigured and translated. Scott 1 to 4 is that period. Then he disappeared. His solo music from the late 70s on, but more the 90s and aughts will scare the shit out of you. Worth seeing is a doc about him and his album Tilt being made called 30 Century Man.

@@deanwolfechannel I'm not criticizing, btw your reactions are great and I respect your opinion. It just might not be your thing. Its "poppy" by radiohead standards but it's just such a catchy riff with so many fun little sounds popping in and out and that little epilogue is so satisfying.

It amuses me how at the time many critics and fans of the earlier material hated this album and Kid A and bemoaned the lack of guitars. There are plenty of guitars on the albums, they simply increased the variety of instruments they used.

hey just letting you know you have clipping distortion going on in your audio output. I just stopped the video and checked the spotify version of this song on my Sony WH1000xm5's and turned it up 50% from what I was listening to on here, and got zero distortion.
