Let's go Merdaaannn!!!!! So happy to see you break through the noise. Appreciated the vulnerability while also not leaving us feeling hopeless. You picked us up with some practicals and topped it off with a fundamental and freeing truth that lightens our burdens on a deeper level. Isaiah 40:4 says that "Every valley shall be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low; the uneven ground shall become level, and the rough places a plain. That valley of despair will indeed be lifted my dudes. Keep it up.👏🏽👏🏽

Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this. In the past 2 months, I've went through EXACTLY what happened to you. Finally starting to take actions, after months of planning (watching youtube videos), feeling anxious 24*7, fearing that it won't work out and I am just wasting my time. I thought there's just something wrong with me, but one day it hits me.... THIS IS WHAT HARD FEELS LIKE!!!!

That's right. Just take that first step and keep going. Push through the valley because you're learning right now.

Good job brother. As a young Christian business owner, I love your dedication. After 4 years of the valley of despair, I can recommend the book ‘The One Thing’. It helps you learn how to confidently remove the wrong decisions out of your never-ending to do list before you do them. Leaving you with a much better focus on the right things while still giving it your all. Additionally, my favorite business book by far is ‘Ready Fire Aim’. It helps you envision the future much better and organize what big problems to solve at what times plus it gives you the confidence to lead a team in that direction.

@@theMerdan Wonderful. Have a marketing agency with 4 spectacular employees. We're hitting record months lately and starting December, we'll pivot to a different Vehicle as Alex Hormozi likes to say. (simontaniously going against his advice to keep your eyes on the main target). About the valley of despair, I believe it's more relevant in the beginning and later on changes to 'Fear of Losing it All'. Once there's something to lose, e.g. employees, retainer clients, consistent revenue, etc, it always feels like the end of the world to 'lose' it. For reference, one of the often rising fears I have is '2 bad months and suddenly we can't pay the team and the whole thing ends.' In reality, it never gets to that point. Another one is with new ideas "If this doesn't work, we're done..." Still, it's also good for it to exist. It keeps you alert. It keeps you hungry. It also stops you from making some obviously dumb decisions.

I’m also a Christian entrepreneur and hopefully my story will help you. I have a few tips for you when it comes to business ideas. My first 3 ideas didn’t work out, I’m currently at my 4th and I only started seeing real traction these past 2 years. I’ve been running small businesses with no real impact (at least not yet) for 6 years now! The first 4 years were failures, financially speaking but I gained so much knowledge and that wilderness season helped me mature. I learned over the years that I was sowing the wrong seed to the wrong soil. Doing business for extremely greedy and selfish reasons somehow always backfires. Galatians 6:7-9 helped me overcome many things. Meditate on that passage and don’t give up on your dreams to succeed as an entrepreneur. And give yourself time, years, not months. Success is measured in years & decades. Keep praying and don’t give up ❤

Hey my brother, just letting you know, you’re not ready for it, you’re just moving past the pain that reality did not meet your expectations. You’ll reach new peaks, and new troughs. You’ll experience extreme joy, and more heart wrenching pain on a whole new level. It all comes with the journey and you’re never truly ready for it, but you learn to calibrate your expectations and you learn to respond to the reality of your circumstances, despite your feelings, which will determine whether you succeed or not. Best of luck, mate! I hope you get to where you want to be. ❤

Great video! Im in the same place right now, except im building a software. And its a struggle to even know what the most important lever to pull, do I need to put more time into the application or more time into customer acquisition. Its what hard feels like is all I remind myself!
@theMerdan
@theMerdan 10 күн бұрын
That's the struggle. And I think you won't know until you do something. If you allow me to share my opinion, I would say get your MVP out and focus on customer acquisition just enough to get feedback and improve your product. You cannot optimize acquisition on an undeveloped product, so technically, application improvement is the lever, but you need a few customers to improve. In short, you gotta do both but with the intention of improving your app, not getting more customers and making more money. When you see that your users are increasing without you making much effort on advertisement, then your product is good and you can crank on acquisition. This is what I would do.

Everything in the video is awesome. I just wanted to point out that Jesus is not God on a human embodiment. Look at the original scripts in Greek; different words are used to refer to Jesus, God and spirit. Jesus was a man.
