I think it's a decision to finally choose yourself-choosing to be the healthy, happy, and healed version of yourself. When you choose yourself, others will recognize it, and I hope it leads to many great opportunities in life. We all have a little child within us, and I'm letting her come out, shine, and be playful. To be my authentic self and not let fear take over, it has to start with small steps: self-care, little rewards, and building confidence by achieving small tasks daily. In this way, I will also learn how to raise a healthy kid of my own, as I’m a single mom.

I don’t like my job and it feels like life has just turned into the same thing over and over and I don’t find nearly the joy that I used to. Idk I feel so incredibly stuck but I know I’m not. I just have to decide to change and get better for myself. It starts with being comfortable on my own which is my biggest struggle, I fill all my time with friends or a distraction from being alone, even though I’ve lived alone for over a year now I’m still afraid to actually spend time alone and feel like I’m just wasting away my life and prime of my 20s. I turned 27 last week and it has been very hard to look back at my life not knowing where my twenties have gone. I feel like I haven’t achieved anything meaningful and I’ve been stuck at a 9-6 for the last 3 years and a half going into 4. I feel like my best years are gone and my time is ticking before I’m out of my twenties. I want nothing more than to leave my current job because I’m not passionate and I’m working for someone else’s dream and not my own, getting home when the sun is almost going down and watching my stay at home dad with dementia get older and not being able to spend more time with him. I have no direction about my future or what I want to build, what my gifts or talents are. I feel like the years are going by in a blink of an eye and I get overwhelmed at the thought of not having an answer, and not having a direction that gives me purpose and time freedom, while being challenged with getting out of the bad habits that keep me stuck further more.

I'm sorry about what happened to your father. I guess each one needs to duel on their own time. Don't rush that up. Don't beat yourself up because of societies expectations in life. You still a young woman. You can find your way to happiness, but is hard to find what passionates that heart when is broken. So take your time. 🫂🫂🫂

nah i got friends doing their dreams at 35 for a living and we all go out dancing and have fun, sometimes i feel like im older than them cuz they got more energy. i think sometimes im just lazy and then get sad about being lazy so then its a cycle i stay in. its hard to pull urself out of it but sometimes only you can get yourself out.

My biggest mistake was never believing in myself. As a medically disabled veteran, I believed my life was over and my confidence was shattered. I’m 23 so whenever I feel down and depressed, I remember how far I’ve come, the literal hills I’ve conquered during my time in the Army, and remember that everything will be alright. As a buddy of mine would say, “I’m not six feet under so I must be great.”

Kicked out at 18, cancer at 19-22! Severely depressed & currently 22 & no education or career experience under my belt & im constantly stressing that I’m so so behind as most my hs classmates have graduated college by now! Thank you for this video, it’s never too late to get up! What I’ve learned most is that Health is Definitely wealth! I’m made fun of for saying that but those who do that have yet to run into issues with their health & just seem to think they’re invincible bc they’re young. Started dating my now fiancé at 15, he continued on to college & then PT school & is about to be a doctor of physical therapy soon 😅meanwhile I’m just starting to begin my journey of what I’m doing now! He’s my biggest supporter & always has been, but it’s definitely hard when those around me seem so ahead! Definitely a ramble & rant here but again thank you for posting this video! Idk how it came across my feed but I do know WHY! I needed it!

So when you factor that in you come to realise your time to really experience life becomes even shorter. If you have no goals in life, you will forever work for those who do….
