Yeah, they for sure do inspire young skaters to keep going and ignite whatever passion they have for the act of skateboarding but as we grow older, we get smarter and we realize the reality behind the scenes of things especially KZbin videos. It’s hard to fake and when word got around that people weren’t getting paid enough to actually make a good living with a multi million subscriber KZbin channel, things are bound to go downhill for them and I don’t think that something that they looked past but think they are dealing with the consequences of it now when people speak out about driving hours and hours to film videos for their weekly schedule with weird boards and stuff that’s just not going to be something the skateboarding community respects And they did do a lot to teach and grow the sport but now it kind of seems like their channels at the point it belongs there’s so many other good content creators for skating. They don’t really deserve that spot that they once had. all in respect to what they’ve done, and if they chose to garnish the fruits of their labor to donating it to some cause that the leader believes in then this is just one of the repercussions. I would’ve done the same thing if I was in your position coming up on the KZbin skating scene, much respect to both of yall but I no longer choose to spend my time watching those videos they put out now when shit like Bryan Arnett is popping off 💯

Did you know the reason I discovered you was originally Chris Chan? I literally first started watching him, then MAJER crew, then Braille all because of Footprint Insoles, I grabbed some myself, and used em for years, I discovered Garrett, Dan Corrigan, Playcub, Andy Anderson, and then You I realized that through the way people show up and hang out and the culture that gets thrown out there, turns into, different sides to the same story and that's because I've connected the dots to the things that make me realize, I'm not going out and living my life, I'm living through other peoples, but then you also realize I have gained skills like Drift Racing, Skateboarding in video games, and video editing. I'm only going to get better the more I do. But for real, I think ever since I first started making music. I never thought of advertising. I never thought putting in 5 dollars was going to do anything. I invested in a computer, for video games, and for making music and look at me now 14 years in and my entire world is different and yet I have never known what it feels like to be the guy who does so much amazing things and It's because I really don't want to. I have over 1000 songs, so what? I only have a good couple hundred you get to the point where it's all a repetition of itself.
