Aaron Kyro being involved in Scientology is the absolute deal breaker for me wanting to have any involvement in watching their videos. That sealed the deal for me in terms of my understanding of what he is about and where his headspace is at. Anyone involved with Scientology is not a person you wanna involve yourself with imo. ESPECIALLY if theyre *actually really giving money time and energy to it. Aarons involvement with that outright cult in spite of all the evidence and scandalous shit they are involved with solidifies the fact that i cannot possibly see him as someone to be taken seriously. Hes about his money and thats that, Scientology is a scam, a cult, and something that once people are involved i lose respect for their ability to make good choices and decisions in their life. You gotta be blind, naive, ignorant among other things to possibly take Scientology seriously and want to participate on such a thing........... Hes got blinders on .

As he said " he is an open book " sincerity and being real is so refreshing in a sea of fakes on social media. He and mogley are my favorite Braille guys as their real and have their heads in reality. In this day and age their is so many people have fake personalities to hide that they dont have one and that dosent sit right. He has many fascists to his life , ie: has owned skate companys, coachs a Olympic skater and teachs kids, has other intrests than just skating like doing shooting comps , has military service, married, grow up rural that pretense dosent bode well in small communities (im a country kid , you grow up way diffent than city kids ) and he is not a grunt, he has some brain behind him. Would love to see him on the 9 club and a more in-depth longer podcast or at least a longer podcast here as this channel is more laid back with less sponsorship adds but untill Nigel started talking guns.. lol Dont ask questions you dont want answered Lamont... lol , oh he got nervous from talking about drawing a pistol and from there on out it was interview over but country kids grow up with playing with guns, having a pocket knive on you because there handy and driving paddock bombs as soon as you can reach the peddles . Lol. Im going to go check out his channle as i enjoyed seeing other fascits of him outside of just talking about Braille.

Yeah I do want to maybe hear his side on that. It really isn't a good look after hearing what Nigel said. It could be money saved over time but who knows. It was a thing I did hate about my old workplace. I had a coworker in his 60s asking me if I had health benefits. He was worried because he was reaching the age of retirement and didn't have any. Man was working there since the company was small and here is the owner just not even bothering to take care of his people. Hell even my dad now after complaining about how stressful his job is as an IT manager there, and the guy tells him he will find solutions... Never does. I don't think Braille will be the same as that work place but it could end up if what I am hearing is true. People who originally give a shit and have a love for what they do just not finding meaning working at that company. When I left my old job, I realized I still love what I do, it's just doing it for that person was not meaningful at all when I was miserable there.

@@thatoneguybones8036 Yeah the guy who owns it works way more than he can actually relax and spend. There is a different form of payment when you are running a business especially a very huge successful one. You also have to make right decisions that won't impact your business and potentially lose jobs. I saw this quote in a book that is written by the founder of Nike (he didn't say this quote but he quotes it from someone else). It says how in the beginners mind, there are endless possibilities but in the experts mind, there are few.
@popo012910 ай бұрын
Honestly after hearing this side, I am now leaning on the weirdness of it. I think honestly it might be how much Aaron takes out for himself as the business owner. We also don't know how much they really make. My work for instance, we did recently collaborate with a person who is pretty famous but we didn't make a ton out of it. Just maybe some money but not a lot. The value though wasn't in the money we get but more just being able to say we worked with that person. That could be also what the brand work was for Braille, not too many people getting into whatever they are promoting so the return isn't that much. Think Ricky said it best that it just doesn't look good when he is asking for money but it is public that Aaron donated 750,000 (swear that is the amount on that video?). Same time is it money saved over time? We also don't know this but the info from Nigel is not helping that argument so who knows for now.

I don't watch podcasts much, but this was awesome. Nigel and Lamont, you are very down to earth, real dudes and I loved watching your skating. I'm about a year younger than Nigel and I want to thank you for your service. That sucks the VA is doing that to you. It's awesome though that you can still create something beautiful with skateboarding and still be real with what's going on around you. I like metal and skateboarding, so I've always like Thrasher and their vids, but I had a feeling they were like the popular kids in high school; or gatekeepers that decide who to watch and who's cool. I hope to see more content from you both! Much love from Missouri!!

Braille kind of got me back into skateboarding. I never was a skater, but I went into Rollerblading, although I never got good at rollerblading. But now I am trying out my skateboards again, because I have two of them still. Right around the time people are trying to cancel Aaron for being in scientology and suggesting you are supporting scientology if you watch Braille. And Ricky doing a react video where he urges people t go and watch the original. It is like Marcus Aurelius said. And Nigel sort of said. "We are rarely given enough information to know what is truly going on." But people are manipulated by information too easily in western society. If someone does a video, and it seems to make sense or has a lot of information that is above their ability tro comprehend, they just believe it, instead of doing their own research. While still knowing they don't have enough information to come to an informed viewpoint.

1:05, the miniscus is not the ligament in the gack of the knee, it is 'C' shaped cartilage cushioning in the knee joint. it does often get torn along with knee injuries such as torn ligaments. he may be referring to an acl or pcl tear. i cant remember which one is in the back, or they both criss cross in the center of the knee holding it together i think. and the lcl and mcl or the ligmanents on the sides of the joint. they stand for posterior (i guess thats probably the one he meant), anterior, medial and lateral collateral ligaments. surprising he got his own injury wrong. then again, in the states healthcare is more expensive, so maybe he didnt get a diagnosis.

I always wondered what happened to Cody and why he lost so much coverage over the years... So lame. I've done a bit of work in local skateboarding doing event organizing and whatnot and learned a lot of politics of skateboarding and it's pretty gross. A lot of two-faced people, will say one thing and do one thing, then hate on other people and blackball them for what they do. Just go skate. Just be involved. Promote skateboarding and keep it positive! Good stuff Nigel and Lamont! Definitely need more constructively critical discussions of the skate world nowadays.

The flags origins aren’t racist but much like the swatzika it’s been used by radical groups and used by groups of hate. It’s a complex topic but the flag had beeen removed from many many places of work including a fire station BEFORE he got black balled because of how people of color were treated in regards to the flag being around or present. Idk Cody at alll to speak on his personal character so take this information as you like.

Super sick seein ya on here Nigel. Miss kickin it with you, Fetty, Gabe, Kelly, & Troy. Mario & Lance too man such cool peoples. I was never brought in to the Scientology side of things, Again I was a minor at the time (15-17) but Braille was always good to me aside from a few things I saw as an insider like weird typa energy towards people not fully affiliated with the brand. Also skating for em, filming for em nonstop for 12+ hour days never seeing a single dollar was slight insanity now that I think about it as an adult. After 2 years straight GRINDING for free, pretty sure the weed thing Nigel and Lamont mentioned about Braille is why I got thrown to the side and left there with no explanation whilst throwing my entire highschool social life & potential job opportunities away to help them with 0 pluses on my side (albeit a little popularity) Which honestly hurt, they brought me back for a few videos a year or two later, then again just stopped hitting me up. Gabs was a HOMIE of mine before and outside all the Braille stuff and even reaching out to him no explanation was given. I wonder how many others have similar stories. Apologies and aside from the negatives , all the comments on my stuff saying how even I inspired them to start skating or learn tricks brought such joy and inspiration to my heart back then. People seeing me at my local mall asking for photos was so weird but surreal. pretty sure I filmed Nigel’s first video with the brand too (: good times being apart of Braille near its peak, bringing joy to kids and parent alike regardless of the rest
