Tomoko is an amazing friend. And the direction is gorgeous from that scene going from 4:07 - 5:25. I freaking love this show

If I’m invited to her birthday party I’d give her a $25 gift card and if she gives me shit the card is mine. Also it’s impossible that all those roses didn’t attract any bees.

This anime isn’t good I watched episode 1 already. Anyone who sees this if you want to watch good anime look up modern anime not old ones. Technology is much better now so anime is way better

Well no there's something called opinion so as people fine with your taste you should to, you may don't like it but it doesn't mean it's a bad or not good enough in fact it's one of the greatest story line and drawing for the 90s in my opinion of course so I think everybody should be respected and I do respect you but I disagree with you

@@Rose88-t9f yup it’s no problem if you feel that way but you’re one of the very few who thinks this to be honest

i do strongly disagree, though this episode is not the best. I love the soundtrack and the visuals are strong af. And when the series get bad, it is hilariously bad and out of tone! It feels like the animators wanted to make a horror animé but got stuck on these, between the killing glares of Mia-sama and the morbid dreamy vibe of the "happy" scenes this series is a treat, I loved watching it and come back to it for a good laugh. For a succeeding version of it, though, The Rose of Versailles has the same mangaka and director, and is really great on face value
