I really appreciate how you mentioned their trama. If they downplay their trama I'm going to lose my shit. I relate to Percy because of the bullying he goes through. I relate to annabeth because of her dad ignoring her. I relate to Nico because of his reaction to his sister's death. I have been through some really dark times and a shit ton of my own trama. That's why I love these books so much. They make me feel seen.

Disney Plus has around 10 episode seasons, plus not so much happens in certain chapters, so it's more likely that each episode will have 2-3 chapters in it from the books

The episodes would be awfully short. I think that 4 or 5 chapters (with some new scenes not from the book) would make an adequate episode, albeit it probably wouldn't be longer than a half hour. It's not exactly a long book and creating too much new content would ruin it a bit. Also, the biggest problem for a PJO and HOO series (if you keep the original cast) is aging. PJO would work alright because we go on a years long journey with the characters, but in the HOO, mainly it takes place in no more than a month and a half (discounting the months Annabeth searched for Percy.) TOA might be an issue too, as we know it doesn't span longer than 6 months and again, aging.

I totally agree with all of your points!! If I were to add one thing is that they occasionally add in some of Percy’s inner thoughts, or at the very least in the first episode start it off with and adapted version of Percy’s opening monologue of “Look I didn’t want to be a demigod” up to where he says “Don’t say I didn’t warn you” because it just really sets up the whole story and it’s an icon start of a book series. Even if they cut out a lot of it, I’d be happy with just hearing him say the first sentence to be honest

For the "Most of the time it gets you killed in painful nasty ways" line they show little clips like a pine tree, a junkyard, and a cruise ship (I'm so sorry) 4. In the last Olympian when Percy gets a call from silena that annabeth needs help or something like that I NEED PERCH GOING OVER TO GRAB WILL SOLACE THEN BORROWING A YAMAHA FZI FROM A SLEEPING BIKER PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE 5. At the end of the The Last Olympian season and after the credits roll they should show a bus then inside they show a sleeping blonde boy, a girl with choppy hair holding his hand, and a Hispanic guy with curly brown hair *IF THEY END UP DOING A SPIN OFF SERIES FOR HEROES OF OLYMPUS* Also, if they even THINK about excluding the diversity, trauma or blue food, I. tbh the series has helped me a lot even most of the characters having ADHD have helped me accept myself when i figured out i had ADHD. i started reading the series in third grade and my grandfather died at the end of second grade and he was the closest person to me and being able to read the series helped especially when i was sorting out my feelings towards the same gender and being able to see Nico be happy and people not making fun of him. I'm worried mainly about what the characters are feeling at that moment and everything about Smelly Gabe(What even is his last name?) If they make Gabe any less of a terrible person than they make let's say how Annabeth views her stepmom then there going to be some issues. Also if they get rid of how Gabe sniffed out Percy's cash and got rid of Percy's patients in seconds. Sure that might not be important to the main plot of the story but it shows how terrible of a person Gabe was. The statue of Gabe will forever be in my top 3 favorite scenes in TLT. I'm just going to put this out here, portraying Percy's emotions is gonna be hard if they don't go into Percy's thoughts like in the books. Theres not much I need to add to that but if they make Percy look like he knows what's happening and like he isn't in the verge of screaming "WHAT IN THE GOD'S NAMES IS HAPPENING?" then idk who this person is but all I know is that sure isn't Percy.

Please remember that as 12 year olds will be cast, Disney will probably play down the trauma not to make it appropriate for the audience but to make the child actors safer. It might be annoying, having kids pretend to have trauma can put a huge strain on them and can have psychological repercussions years in the future. I won’t be mad if they do downplay some of the stuff just to keep the active safe. Also, if they don’t downplay sound of stuff and the actors don’t portray things how you feel like someone actually went through something like that would portray it don’t get mad at the kids because hopefully those kids had an actually been abused so they wouldn’t know exactly how Percy is feeling. Get mad at the script writers all you want but do not ever put any of your anger towards the kids who are acting in the show. just remember they have no control over any of the things besides their performance and they are kids so their performance won’t be the best. If this turns out to be animated, I hope they choose the right artist instead of all the other art that just changed Percy and everyone else completely, with a lot of features incorrect. (For example: Remember that iconic drawing of Percy leaning on Riptide? Yeah, pretty much like that). Just a thing that bothers me and a thing I think that bothers everyone else...idk it could just be me

My biggest question after the release of the cast is: is Magnus going to be African American, because that's pretty much the only way to explain why Annabeth is. Or are they going to pull a Lucifer and just never mention the fact that Magnus is a white boy while Annabeth isn't, I think the latter would be funnier like can you imagine: "Hey Percy this is my cousin Magnus" Percy looks at Magnus then looks at annabeth "Sure. Hi Magnus."

If there does end up being an MCGA adaptation and Magnus is not black or mixed, since the PJO adaptation is coming first, they would really have to "explain" why Magnus was NOT, rather than why Annabeth was black. But more to your point, I think Magnus will probably be black or mixed. If not, maybe Annabeth's dad is white and Athena could be black, so who knows. If a Magnus Chase adaptation becomes official, we'll just have to see what they're going to do.

Clarification bigger yes in terms of height and presence but fit muscular a warrior bred to fight and die in honor of the gods. Another example is Kesandra the female protagonist/antagonist in assassin's creed odyssey
