A lot of men date the field and never commit. Intentional ones, see what they want and like a prize-winning horse in the Kentucky Derby, focus on that special someone with blinders on until they cross the finish line. Kristopher Green showed himself to be a man of clear dating intentions on OWN's "Ready to Love." Let's discuss, "Dating with Intentions."

Ask Him to send the man that He have for you at the appointed time, and that you recognize the one that He have for you. In the meantime let Him work on you, and develop you into the woman of God that He created you to be. Enjoy the moment and process to the best of your ability. Rest in Him, and trust Him. Ask God to show you who you are, and what your purpose is in life. And everything will fall into place at the appointed time in the name of Jesus.

Sis, he will... he’s faithful. It’s not easy, but he got us. This year makes 6 years in the waiting room, I’m staying busy, about the Lords business... and the rumor is, when I least expect it... he’ll show up. Until then, I’m asking to be kept.. and that my husband is being kept as well. ❤️🙋🏾‍♀️💆🏾‍♀️

I think the reason that money is the number one reason for divorce is because of what money issues represent. If a person isn’t contributing or is undisciplined , or irresponsible or is dishonest with money, it shows you about their character. Money is an amplifier. It amplifies or highlights your character. Sometimes it shows you the unacceptable character traits.

Being with a life partner without making it legal....is like having a book with no words! Even when you accept a job....you have to sign papers....when you get a loan you have to sign papers....when you birth a child....you sign papers (your name goes on the birth certificate) anything that you are committing to you should NOT have a problem declaring it on paper and in front of people. I still believe the WORD OF GOD....and marriage is His sacred institution. All this new way of thinking is just foolishness to me. Thanks LIT for clarifying...what marriage is really about!

I agree what u r saying but I also hear what KC is saying. Sometimes the marriage is not based on a connection but merely a piece of paper. Of course we know that the definition of marriage continues to evolve. But at the end of the day, the persons in the marriage gets to define their marriage; good bad or indifferent. For me, I want it ALL!

Marriage is a covenant and if we plan to live with someone with benefits, it's not marriage and I question even if it's love. Everyone is entitled to their view, but I believe it should be in alignment with the Word of God, if I'm acting like I'm married, I should be what? ... married. Otherwise, I'm fornicating and am not fit for the Kingdom of God. Kris, I thank you for sharing; enjoyed you immensely. You seem to be a very grounded man which I found refreshing. To that extent, I pray you don't cheat yourself out of experiencing what God will do with you as a husband and you and your wife as a union; in a Kingdom marriage. Laterras, as always, thank you for another anointed podcast. God is proud and is certainly doing something HUGH through you. Minds are being changed, lives are being transformed and marriage covenants are being entered into. Look forward to the next one. God bless you and again, thank you Kris.

I haven't watched this video. But I can tell Kris is operating in a place of hurt, fear and a false sense of safety. We watched a show (RTL) but that was his real life experience and he was fully vested in someone that turned out to be a wolf in sheep's clothing 😳 So, now we have a man who has shutdown and sees it as painful to put himself out there and pursue what he initially wanted; a wife and family. Whatever his professed thoughts are on marriage, you are actually hearing the language of fear and armored thoughts ladened with pain. This is a perfect example of the effects of playing with people's emotions which is sad to witness 😢

Marriage is symbolic of Christ's covenant and love for His church and because of what that entails it is a precious yet challenging institution. If God places it in your heart to persue marriage you should and having a certificate of marriage, I feel, lets man know that you are committed to that covenant as well.

Yeah. I agree that we must change our way of thinking and perspective in order to receive the blessing/blessings that God have for us to the fullest. Being taught that marrying someone in a Biblical perspective is the way we should teach people. People need to know that our purpose in life whether we are married or single is to be about our Father's business. The problem is not being encouraged to marry or get married. The problem is society creating a spirit of codependency. And if you don't fully know God or self. That is a problem in and of itself. Because you are going to be looking for people and things to fill the void that only God can fill. He created this void for you to know that you need to seek something greater then yourself. But majority of people don't understand that. They want to look to what they call the universe, people, education, money, and so on and so forth. To do what only GOD can do. Everyone be blessed and encouraged in the Lord.

Kris was one of my favorites on the show. Listening to him solidifies that. He clearly understands the Spiritual journey and high vibration. Against popular opinion, I actually agree with his idea of marriage. I say, "I want a partner who is with me because he wants to be with me...not because he feels he must be because of a piece of paper." A life partner is most definitely ideal. A connection is so much more than being bound to someone (a transactional connection). He's emotionally available and spiritually intune, which is rare. I affirm him the best! 💛

Good morning Laterras, this is Arlette. I was on the testimony episode you had about two weeks ago. I apologize for going over my time in that episode. When I saw the Zoom Meeting information in the description box, I didn't pay attention to the next line that said that each person should be talking for two minutes, I am sorry about that. I did connect on Instagram with the sister who came after me, and I apologized to her as well (for going over my time). She was very gracious, and understanding. Thank you for connecting us. Thank you for your kindness, your patience, your humor, and for being gracious as well. Thank you for giving us a voice, and for allowing us to share our stories. I was moved by what the other sisters shared as well. I look forward to listening to this episode. Thank you for letting us know that it is okay to raise the bar for ourselves, and with others, and for encouraging us to better ourselves, in every area of our lives. Have a wonderful day! Also, thank you for bringing back the "Why are you shacking with me?" phrase. It's going to sound silly, however it feels like something is missing when I don't hear it at the beginning of the podcast 🙂 I also noticed that the seductive radio voice was left out this time (I am just giving you a hard time, because I had made a joke about leaving that seductive voice for your future wifey 🙂 when you say that phrase, in the comments' section of a previous episode). This was an interesting episode. Thank you for having someone (a man), with a different perspective. I appreciated his honesty, though I am of a different mindset regarding some of the topics you both touched on, like marriage. Thank you both as well for expressing men's deepest fears. These are the kinds of things I appreciate about your podcast.

Can we say "LOVE JONES"?!? I loved this episode!!! No tears this time... only thing missing is a few more friends, wine, and some GOODT food!!! I was here for this... For me, time to heal from previous relationships is very key, and your show has taught me the VALUE of that. Money is said to be the number one cause of divorce... but when you're with your PURPOSE PARTNER... it's richer or poorer FORREAL... cause you both know money comes and goes... financial intelligence and conversations are key... my grandfather used to say "A man without a plan plans to fail" and " you pay for what you dont know and what you dont feel like doing; either way somebody gotta pay try not to let it be you; knowledge is power" and he'd say "you gotta pay to play; if you cant pay you cant play; and if you cant pay you cant stay".... he'd say God first, health next, and money immediately after that and everything else as you see fit... for us women he told us...nothing from nothing leaves nothing, so if you have nothing and he has nothing you wont have nothing, if you as a woman has something and he has nothing eventually you'll have nothing, but if you have nothing as a woman and he has something YOU BETTER KNOW SOMETHING and be of great value to him so he can get more... Looking back over my life he wasnt wrong... I witnessed what being a woman of value meant... he took care of my grandmother and she wanted for nothing.. gifted her EVERY SINGLE DAY... little small things... she was able to move how she wanted, be whomever she wanted to be, do whatever she wanted to do. She protected his money, fed him ( he NEVER ate off of another woman's plate unless it was at a restaurant; ), shaved him, bathed him ,took care of his health and was that soft place for him to land, to cry (crying is NOT WEAK women), to talk, to laugh, and just BE. When his money was funny she always had reserves for him from all he had given her throughout the previous years. She had his back... She had a reverence for him because of he cared for her... even when she wasnt acting lady like (which was hardly ever) but he never denied or changed his love or care for her or changed how he moved... when a woman feels safe to BE HER even on a bad day AND STILL LOVED UNCONDITIONALLY AND PROVIDED FOR you will always be THE FACE OF GOD to her... and God will be pleased... he speaks to husbands in his word...thats how you get the honor and respect and submission from her as God calls us as women/wives to do... If you have done all these things how can I walk away because finances arent right? When you showed ME GRACE AND MERCY...when I KNOW YOU HAVE CONSISTANTLY provided for me and ALWAYS protected me?! Truth be told i havent done MY JOB if I didnt watch your financial back... my grandfather said PROTECT HIS MONEY... I watched my grandmother do just that!!! 74 years UNBREAKABLE... they took care of each other....ON PURPOSE!!!! no control over each other...PROTECTION and coverance over each other...prayed over each other... WITH THE GREATEST INTENT!!! I am traditional, I dont want to be his equal, I dont want to devalue him in that way or steal his reverence nor take his crown, I just merely want to wear mine... I have my own money.... I have the goal of being the God gift that increases his Kingdom Wealth not deplete his Kingdom Wealth So that OUR FATHER GETS ALL THE GLORY in the KINGDOM...and we walk hand in hand ON PURPOSE for HIS PURPOSE!!!!

The piece of paper argument.... Let's go deeper.... In biblical times they exchanged land and livestock for the marriage contract... We now have a marriage license.... So the piece of paper discussion will always rub me the wrong way.... It's our outer representation of our covenant with God... So is the rings we wear.... That is how I view the marriage license. Great discussion.

This was very interesting to hear. Unfortunately in this day and age very few people are intentional when dating.. Most people if not all come into the dating scene with their own idea of what they want to achieve. Very few of us have gotten the proper guidance interms of how to date, who to date, how to pray when dating, and most importantly how to wait on God to give you your purpose partner. And makes me wonder how do we then know an individual's intention when dating? Because I feel like .nowadays it's fake it till you make it in these streets...

It is definitely not all, but a lot of people have pulled away from the word of God. They choose to live their lives based off of their family upbringing, their own personal beliefs, and what the world teach them and show them. Then they end up being bound with anger, bitterness, and un-forgiveness because of it. The enemy have people bound in a lot of areas, and a certain way of thinking keep them from receiving everything that God have for them.

Omg. I pray I remember to watch this later on. I enjoyed seeing him on Ready to Love. The thing is the enemy can and will deceive and distract you as an attempt to deter you from what and who God have for you. We have to be mindful. Blessings to all in Jesus name. Amen and Amen.

Very interesting episode here. Some things stated I don't agree with but I understand his perspective on it. I believe when it comes to dating so many have forgotten or just plainly do not know what dating is. I believe it's okay for a man and woman to date multiple people. Dating in it's most simplistic form is seeing if a person is qualified to be your spouse. That's it! I'm happy you asked Kris if he has seen a successful marriage. Lord knows I've seen people form these unions, have kids and then part ways. I'm here for the traditional, biblical way.
