I live just across the river in Ohio. I volunteered in a search for her at Mount Wood park outside of Parkersburg but found nothing. This area is heavily wooded. She could be anywhere. Great channel btw.

Yea all the evidence items. Most likely killed her with his g.u.n..(sells it).....then put her on the sofa.... (blood gets on it and he cleans it to sell it) ....then cuts her up with the band saw ( sells it) ...now takes her remains and buries her on that plot of land the family owns. Police are either covering for him or are not wanting to find her.

I'm sure the that the truth about what happened to Gretchen Fleming could be tortured out of Darrel Lott/Preston Pierce. No, it wouldn't result in legal proceedings against him, but it would sure give closure to Gretchen's family. All of that said, Gretchen clearly wasn't a very stable young woman. Sadly, she probably would have met a similar demise even if she had never met Lott/Pierce.

How old were her grandparents? What kind of people are they? How long had she be staying with them, that she 'often' stays away for a couple of days? This was their GRANDDAUGHTER. Staying gone without leaving a word wouldn't happen after the first time, in the real world. I don't care how old she is! As a grandmother myself, after 5 or 6 hours, I would have been down the road, stopping at EVERY known place she had ever been to, tracking her like a bloodhound! By daylight, my ass would have been beating down the cop shop doors and telling every person in there to go find her NOW! To wait even 24 hours without trying to find her, I can't imagine how a grandparent does this...Don't judge people, but have they been thoroughly looked at? If someone as distant as a next door neighbor, who I saw in passing or even said hello to daily, suddenly vanished without a word, by day three, I would be looking for a reason why...wouldn't you? This just doesn't make sense!!

Wow! I just listened to this case on the True Crime Garage podcast. The warning signs from that evil guy preston when he delivered for doordash are absolutely sickening! stalking people he delivered food too. This man was always looking for a opportunity and unfortunately he found one at that bar. The old saying “nothing good happens after midnight” applies especially as a women in a bar with no friends alone at 3 in the morning. Not trying to victim blame, Just want folks to be safe out there and don’t give opportunity to scum like preston.

Not reporting her missing for so long is sorta weird. I like you Lamont would never wait that long. That damages so much evidence that may have been used or at the very least held. This is very sad. I wonder if the police ever looked into that and if true did a grid search of the property! Police departments have cameras outside,did they check for him dropping her off? Did they impound his car? Unfortunately I think she is no longer alive as well. It’s crazy with the amt of surveillance and GPS available, the cops can’t map his entire location!! His vehicle looks newer so I’m sure it probably has onboard gps!! So sad that some cases get an endless budget from law enforcement, while others hardly get any help allocated.
