"Dear Manchester" protest messages appear on Grade II-listed Brum pub The Crown | I Am Birmingham

"Dear Manchester" poster messages appear on The Crown pub in Birmingham city's centre's Station Street, warning of gentrification and a loss to local culture as the Grade II-listed building has received reprieve from demolition but much of the street around it - including the iconic UK's oldest Electric Cinema - are expected to be removed and replaced with luxury flats and office buildings.
The anonymous message appeared to be a reply to a similar poster spotted in Manchester, which accused city leaders of prioritising 'profits over people.'

British lefties, the most conservative people in the world. "Don't change anything!" Doubly amazing anyone could say this of Station Street which is an eyesore and a mess. I always worry what tourists must think if they come by train, take the wrong turning in New Street station, and emerge onto Station Street.
