yessssss girl to what you said about zionism in the community!! most of the big exmuslim content creators are useless in terms of humanitarianism and inclusivity - the community needs a complete overhaul. mimzy and her man are insufferable and FOF is weird too. faithless hijabi was a good concept and i even donated to it for months, but finding out they're zionists/conservatives completely negates any good they could have done. I'm glad that people like u and apostate aladdin have actually opposed the zionism and obvious self hate in the community bc the internet is not a safe space for new exmuslims when ppl like them are leading our conversations

I've been an exmuslim for probably 15 years but only got into the community online in the past couple years, it's kind of terrifying to see how many people are into right wing politics and how celebrated that is in the community. the hatred for our own ethnic communities and glorification of the west is the saddest part

@@mozillafirefay for sure and like you said in the video, so much of how they talk about their own people like "these countries" vs the west is right wing dog-whistling and straight up comes from a place of self-hate. there needs to be a differentiation between the negative aspects of islam and people's perception of their own ethnic communities and cultures. its not just the west vs *the barbaric muslims* , its exmuslims and ppl who are oppressed by islam vs the doctrine of islam

They love to use clips of you being “rude/mad” and point to that instead of actually hearing you out.
