Thank you - I loved this!!! I really appreciated the bits about neurodiversity. I’m female and was diagnosed with ADHD last year at 45. Which has been an identity shift in its self. I really related to the part about offering other people advice, helping people, but then feeling bad about it afterwards and thinking it was weird. I still think I’m weird doing that, but when others do that I think they are just being kind and that’s it’s really lovely. Thank you so much for just talking!

😂 I’ll try and remember to check my butt on my seat and go to a theme park when this happens to me!

Just randomly posting as an update. This did happen to me. Or more accurately this initial awakening had happened to me and I didn’t realise it that’s what it was at the time of posting. Interestingly I didn’t remember to check my bum on my seat, but I didn’t need to because at one point during the ‘honeymoon period’ the boundary between my cat on my lap disappeared. I had an interconnectedness with my cat, including all her purrs. ❤️ It was one of Angelo’s KZbin videos and pointing that showed me where to look. 🙂

There is awareness in this body mind of being at the end of the "road". Like, nothing "here" can do it for "me" anymore. As "I" seemingly go through this awakening process. This came to me after hearing you talk about this toward the end...

Wow... you ladies generate such a beautiful space together - I just want to stay here all day! I just loved your story, Violet, and I relate to so much of it: trauma, neurodivergency, insecure attachment patterns (in my case, along with addiction and some highly destructive validation-seeking behaviour). I also met my partner when I was 27, although he is most certainly NOT a teacher - well, not by intention, anyway! I laughed when you got to the part about losing your memory in the car, because I get this too! Only in my case, it happens repeatedly, but only for a short time, probably 2 minutes at most. All of a sudden, I literally blink, open my eyes and it's just... gone! But for some reason, it doesn't bother me at all, it's a bit like : "well, never mind if I can't remember who I am, where I live, what my life even is, as long as I remember where I'm going before I have to make the next turn" 😂 Even the part of your story where you were looking in the mirror that night resonated with me, because a couple of months back I was eyeballing myself really hard in the mirror (can't remember why, probably trying to figure out who the f*@k I am). All of a sudden, that reflection started to seem reallllly odd, then became like a total stranger I had never seen before, that had absolutely nothing to do with me at all. I even freaked out for a second, because it had the most intense look on its face! Then, all of a sudden for a couple of split seconds, I was inside the mirror looking out and outside the mirror looking in at the same time. Couldn't SEE out through the mirror or anything like that, but FELT myself in there. I just enjoyed this interview SO much, and your story is just amazing, thank you! 💖

What an incredible life story, Violet! I loved hearing the story of how you and Angelo met. Kismet 🙏✨ Your story struck me when I read Angelo's book. Thank you ladies for sharing this friendly, and fun chat. I really enjoyed listening to you both... and look forward to the sequel! You're both divine! 🙏💛 I love poetry, so it was lovely hearing the origin of this title. It reminds me of "Love Is Blindness" by U2. Thank you, once more Xx

They're both lucky! 💛 Angelo comes across like a genuinely down-to-earth caring man, so I'm sure he provides a lot of loving emotional support. Violet deserves the best! I am so happy for them! 🤗 This is such a wonderful partnership. P.S. Sorry to bombard you with replies, I just wanted to say "Yes, yes, yes!" I agree! Such a beautiful story. A bit late but "keto flu" is usually electrolyte imbalance due to change in kidney function from reduced insulin. There's loads of keto electrolyte supps to cover. That said, even just the intro to this video is amazing and beautiful. Edit--listening further I love your conversation about relationships. I had a one to one teacher I only got to see once a week who was somewhere far down the trail so I sort of understand the fiery nature of being "up close and personal" with someone who has left personal bullshit far behind.

@Lisa Cairns I've said it. I see it that way on the level of ego development. We need some degree of Narcissism just to be motivated to get out of bed every morning.
