When that ending screen came on.. I never wanted to leave the game. I never wanted to grow up. I would get all these feels about friends and what itd be like if I lost them... and I did. now all I can do is remember them, But I have my new friends now. and they'll never leave.. I just sometimes wish I was a kid again raging and taking turns trying to beat Riku, and after each turn we would all shout in a funny tone from annoyance saying "there's no way you're taking kairis heart!" lol... man.. I kind of do miss them.. I wonder what they're up to now.. Had so many memories with them and this game.. Thanks KH.. for the greatness and feels.

@@MWilliamGoody2303 im 15, just recently turned it on the 18th of may. i feel the exact same way. grew up on a dell pc, remember playing this game on my dad's ps2 that my mom bought him in 2004, a few months after my birth. most games that we had were racing titles, and i found this game at our local pawn shop a few years ago, after my dad had got rid of it due to lack of interest. i tugged out that old ps2, which hadn't been touched in almost 8 years at that time, as my dad put it up in 2008 due to lack of use, and care for it. it was dusty, and somehow still worked. i remember that night i stayed up for the entire night, playing it. brings a tear to my eye that now i'm 15, and life goes by so fast, just like a good game.

Here in 2021. Listening to this and reading the comments from 5 years ago moved me emotionally in a very weird way. As a kid, I was shy and didn’t bother hanging out with other kids. Anyway, I used to watch this show House of Mouse on tv. So one day my pa bought this game because it had Goofy on the cover. I remember going home after school to play KH with my brothers, getting excited every time we unlocked a key blade or traveled to a new world, raging over tough boss fights, wandering around in Tarzan land, and beating up heartless… wow I missed those days and I can’t help but tear up as I write this. A carefree haven with my brothers natt and Uu. Now I’m on a new journey- the adventure of adulthood. Emotional and for what😂

This title theme set the tone for the game especially first playing the game. Makes you so eager to play through the game. So nostalgic, very bitter sweet feeling.. neutral feelings. You feel happy to hear it and reminisce about the good times at the same time a bit saddening knowing you will never get those moments back. Hearing this song takes me back to those summer nights I spent playing this game. Let me set the mood. It was 2009, 1 am on a hot June night, I waited 3 hours for my parents to fall asleep. Once I was sure they were, I would sneak downstairs. There in the dark living room, sat my silver PS2, inviting me to turn the game on. I would sit on the carpeted floor cross legged, surrounded by two couches on both sides and a living room chair behind me.
