Dearly Beloved reprise EXTENDED Kingdom Hearts

It was the beginning of summer in the mid 2000s. I had gotten to the last boss fights the night previous and I snuck down to the living room at 4:30 am to play it. As my mom came downstairs at 6:00 am to yell at me, she found me literally crying at this. I just remember the game over screen, how all of the excitement was over, and how she held me as I cried about Sora having a sad ending. Even now, just thinking about this ending chokes me up. Kingdom Hearts is a light that never goes out.

12 years ago already. i remember seeing this comment back when i first completed this game, and now i just beat both Kh1 and Kh2 final mix on my xbox, and i start to wonder where all the time went. cheers.

I find this song incredibly soothing and very fitting for the last thing you hear in the game after beating the final boss and watch the credits. This song really does tell me: “The game is now over. You beat the final boss. Now relax.”

KH1 is a masterpeice in my eyes. Truly my favourite game ever. The story is superb, the combat is amazing, the music is so nostalgic, and everything about this game is incredible. This game was so important to me and it still is. My uncle gave me his platinum edition (essentially greatest hits in the UK) and I loved every second of it. It wasn't the best version (FM is such an improvement) but I don't care. I kinda miss not using triangle for limits because it just had a charm to it (using triangle is better tho) Funny story, my sister turned off the ps2 while the game was saving, so she corrupted the save data and I had to restart. This game also got me into FF, another great sereis. (FF9 is my favourite FF game) I only had KH1. No re:chain, no KH2, only KH1. Heck, I only just beat the rest of the series this year and aside from Re:Chain, it was great. Even saying that, Re:Chain was my introdduction to KH, so it's still kinda nostalgic (watched my uncle play it when I was younger) I could go on forever about why this game is one of the best games ever made.

I had a seperate file saved right before the final battle with Ansem. It was routine, every night, for me to defeat Ansem and sit through the credits... just so I could fall asleep to this song. I did that for years. Looking back on it, I truly miss being fourteen. I hated it then, but now I realize it was a much more simple time, and I'd give anything to go back.

when i completed Kingdom Hearts 1 for the first time I could not accept that it ended there. I left the screen up with this tune hoping that the game had not ended yet.. :( AND KINGDOM HEARTS 2 TOOK FAR TOO LONG, so many gamers must have lost interest by then. But i didn't.

hey now guys there is no need to hate on COD BF and whatever is popular at the moment...they are fun time killers and such...but we all know that the truly great games are games like the Kingdom hearts series...i mean sure i play COD, but ill never forget about Kingdom hearts...those games are my childhood and still to this day i don't think any game beats them :') anywas i came here to enjoy the tune soo...^_^

Omg I had to stay up to beat ansem. I thought I would take forever. it was like around midnight As the credits went through, this popped up and I just sat down staring at the tv and tears came down. i swear it did. I find this song.. a perfect ending for everyone in the game that Sora feels important with... Riku, Kairi, Goofy, and Donald.... Each repeat brings a pulse of memories of my time playing this game.. Both frustrated, and proud at the same time... Truly, this game.. lulls me to sleep.... I have it on my laptop.. repeat lol XD Sad, I know.. but hey.. it peaceful :')

@lordoYYH255 Gears of War is probably one of the only shooting games that i've played that actually had a meaningful story...unlike CoD which has a short story and it's pretty much the same game every time, however Kingdom Hearts still beats both of them both story and gameplay wise

Mass Effect 3 was the last Mass Effect Bioware is going to make, and to me the ending was unjustified, and still left many questions un-answered. Bioware is actually remaking the ending, which I am happy about, so be prepared some time in the future for a new ending.
