Denise Boldea I know right! My daughter had the opportunity to model when she was around 8, I thought some of her photos made her look older & sexualised so I put a stop to it there & then. She is now 21 & has quite a lot of followers for her cosplay outfit’s, that she is not to go on without her face covered. To many freaks out there!

Celebrity adoration is always superficial and obsessive. There's no depth to it. It just thrusts you out into the spotlight for any mentally ill person to choose you for his/her fantasies. Usually disturbing one's. Real celebrity is having family and friends who truly love you.

I concur on Mr. Michael's dedication to his craft. The small things are incredible in such videos- like the newspaper ad for the golf course that Bill Lennon worked at, and also met his unfortunate death. I especially found both his pieces on Jay Sebring and the LaBianca's incredibly researched, and again, the matches etc, related to the businesses etc. that were involved are monster big as far as I'm concerned. Keep in mind, as pointed out here by Mr. Michael's, that this Bill Lennon tragedy took place on the Tuesday, following the Friday night/Saturday morning murders on Cielo Dr. and that Saturday night (Aug 9th) of the LaBianca's in Los Feliz. By Sunday the 10th, LA was in shock, and reeling in not knowing the identity of the sadistic killers. Then two days later, this tragedy happens, and for atleast a few days, the newspapers had no info on who murdered Bill Lennon. As such, the area had to be on pins and needles. Another related note to the Bill Lennon murder- my mother's sisters ex-husband (my ex-uncle) had divorced her in '67. As a member of the Lawrence Welk Orchestra, he had come to be intimate with Kathy Lennon, one of the four singing Lennon sisters, and married her in 1968.

The Lennon Sisters did a book back in the 80’s. They talked about how they all holed up inside the house for awhile, with full police protection since the guy was still loose. There were about 10 Lennon kids in all. So the girls, their husbands and kids, plus the other Lennon kids were all cooped up in there.

What's especially horrible, is Charles Tex Watson who was responsible for the majority of her murder, as well as committing the majority of the LeBlanc murders, has been able to father children, through conjugal visits in prison. Justice would have been for him to have the death sentence carried out, that he was originally given. and now justice has deteriorated so much, in major cities around the country you have Mayors, and governors and district attorney's leaving citizens of major cities to the "wolves", and not protecting the public. you need to sleep with a gun within arm's reach now, more than at any time in the history of this country.

I remember when this happened, I along with my family were living in Venice at the time. I meant one of the Lennon siblings Denny Lennon, he coach the girls basketball team that my daughter played on at St Mark's Catholic School. Such a sad year 😔

You are a world of knowledge about celebrities and history. You are always informative and deliver yourself well. I cant imagine how much it would hurt to lose a loved one to murder.

1969 events could be easily reduced to a handful: Woodstock, People’s Park, Manson, the Zodiac, the moon landing, the Miracle Mets, Broadway Joe, Beatles last live performance, Chappaquiddick, the Alcatraz occupation, John Wayne Academy Award best actor, Premiere of “Easy Rider” The Boeing 747 test flight, “Sugar, Sugar” is released Archie's, “Sesame Street” debuts on public television. They say the sad symbolic ending for the 1960s was the Altamont Speedway Free Festival held December 6th, The Rolling Stones played “Under My Thumb.” In all, there would be four deaths at Altamont.

All About Cemeteries I was twelve at the time but I remember all of it. My oldest brother was in Vietnam. Also “Abbey Road” was released in the fall. The End.

@@janloftness Hi Bootsy Jan, did any family or friends purchase the Album Abbey Road? How long did your brother serve Vietnam? Thank You for sharing

All About Cemeteries Hi! Thanks for asking. My oldest brother enlisted in the army in 1967 because he didn’t want to be drafted and served for two years. He was in intelligence in Saigon and did not do combat. My other two brothers were deferred: one for a medical and the other received a high birthday lottery number. I’m sure it was my third brother who bought Abbey Road as soon as it was released, like everyone else! I spent my early teens listening to Beatle albums ( we had EVERY ONE) on headphones plugged into the living room stereo. Really, that’s all I did. The first record I bought with my own money was “Let It Be”, a 45 for 95 cents. Also, I loved the Lennon Sisters when I was little and we watched Lawrence Welk Show every week. I do not remember hearing about their dad’s murder until just a few years ago. Horrible. Things just went upside down in 1969. But, I’d prefer it to this year.

Scott, could you do a video on Candice Bergen. Didn’t she live in the Tate house right before Sharon? Has she ever said anything about it? Why didn’t Terry Melcher put two and two together and finger Manson immediately after the murders. Were Terry and Candice living with Doris Day when the murders occurred?

Many sports fans got one heck of a shock upon seeing their favorite fight announcer come "back from the dead" to just keep doing his job. They mistakenly had confused golf's Billy Lennon with his brother - boxing's Jimmy Lennon. Luckily, because of his Brit accent, there was no similar confusion with Beatles star Johnny Lennon. (Although there was a Manson tie-in regarding the Beatles release of a song called Helter Skelter.)

A friend of mine lived in the valley during this time period. She said that people were definitely reeling from these killings. When they finally caught up with Manson and his crew, she said her folks were upset when they found out they lived just a couple of miles from an area where those nuts had hung out at.
