Summary of active and passive voice.. ________ 1. Always use 3rd form of verb in passive voice 2. Use 'being' in passive voice when active voice is continuous (+ing) 3. Use 'been' in passive voice when active voice is perfect (has,have,had) 4. Use 'be' in passive voice when modals (could,might etc) present in active voice rule- object+Modal+be+3rd form+by+subject 5. Remove 'be' when vice versa 6. use (is,am,are) in passive voice when active voice is present indefinite (1st form+s/es ,do,does) rule- object + is/am/are+ 3rd form + subject 7.use 'was/were' in passive voice when active voice is past indefinite (2nd form of verb, did) rule- object + was/were + 3rd form+ subject 8. use 'will be' in passive voice when active voice is future indefinite (will/shall+ 1st form) ____________ 9. 'Why' ke baad 'verb' phle then 'subject' 10. If active voice is (affirmative/question/negative) sentence then passive voice Will also be (affirmative/question/negative) sentence

In 7th point The rule is, we can only use v2 in active voice(past tense) And v3 in passive voice ....so use v3 with was/were as used in passive voice . ......and v2 with did as used in active voice.
